17 Missing NIV verses help validate the KJV Bible translation is likely the one preserved by God

The NIV Bible Contains 17 Fewer Verses than the KJV - Which is more correct?

It is said that there are 17 missing verses in the NIV Bible translation. This fact, in addition to many other differences in translation, seem to show the NIV contents has gotten out of alignment from the King James Version published back in 1611. There are seemingly good arguments on both sides of this issue claiming which version is more accurate. How do we settle this debate? I believe the numbering in the Bible is so perfectly in line with the contents of the text, that we can use this alignment to demonstrate the KJV is numerically correct in the number and organization of books, chapters and verses.

This perfection in numbering takes the decision regarding the accuracy of Bible versions out of the minds of opinionated men and lets the preciseness of numbers answer the question.  Of course, a numerically perfect Bible structure seems impossible, but it is worthwhile to remember that God told us in His Word that it is perfect and that he would preserve it.
God preserved his word...Psa 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words; As silver tried in a furnace on the earth, refined seven times. v7 You, O LORD, will keep them; You will preserve them from this generation forever.
When we realize that God not only inspired the text of the Bible, but also the numbers, we can use the perfection of the numbering to confirm if and when it has been tampered with. One of the best examples of observing this numerical perfection is seeing the exact center verses in the KJV and how the text lines up with the verse numbering God apparently assigned. Other Bible versions that do not have such numeric alignment simply don't provide such evidence for their correctness.

I should note, once I began to observe a pattern to how Bible verse numbers lined up with their text, over a period of years my research let me to discover the preciseness of the KJV. I did not set out to prove the KJV correct, but rather simply was seeking to find out about the DNA like numerical perfection of scripture and eventually discovered only the 31,102 verses, 66 books and 1189 chapters of the KJV all lined up numerically perfect with numbers and text. Take away any verse or change the organization in any way and the numbering alignment was in error. The perfect book identifies itself.

The perfection of the KJV's exact center verses...
It would appear God has left us easily visible clues as to the validity of the Bible -- even though the evidences take some thought to comprehend. Consider the below facts as possible indications of the 1611 KJV Bible's perfect numbering and structure.

Psalm 103:1-2 are the exact middle verses of the 1611 KJV Bible. These two verses are found at the 15551-15552nd cross Bible verse locations and are the 1611-1612nd verses in the Book of Psalms.
Psa 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
Psa 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits;
Consider these surprising facts about these verses:

  • There are 31,102 verses in the KJV Bible as opposed to 31,085 verses in the NIV translation
  • The middle verses of the KJV Bible are Psalm 103:1-2. It is very interesting that the chapter and verse reference seem to relate to the total number of verses in the KJV  (31,102 contains the same digits as 103:1-2 (Hebrew gematria)
  • The middle verse number of the Bible is 15551 & 15552. The number 15551 is very interesting with likely gematria related symbolism
  • The middle verses of the Bible both declare  "Bless the LORD, O my soul...". Is it coincidence that the last verse of the first half of the Bible and the first verse in the last half start and end with this same exact phrase giving praise to the LORD?
  • These middle verses point precisely to the first two verses of a chapter that both begins and ends with the phrase "Bless the LORD.."  Psalm 103:1 through Psalm 103:22. Note: #22 is a number symbolic of Jesus, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
  • Psalm 103:1 is the 1611th verse of the book of Psalms and the KJV bible was published in 1611. It's as if this is a direct pointer to this specific Bible version. Note: There's many evidences that both the cross Bible book and verse numbers have a DNA like perfection and relationship to the Bible's text.
It is incredibly unlikely all the above numeric coincidences just happen to line up with the exact center two verses of the Bible. To add to these evidences, there's more evidence for this perfection when you consider how the NIV Bible's numbers don't line up in the same type of perfection since it seems to be missing 17 complete verses. These missing verses change the Bible's numbering and thus change what verses are found at the center location.

The imperfection of the NIV center verse numbers...

The exact center verse of the NIV is:
Psa 102:21 That men may tell of the name of the LORD in Zion And His praise in Jerusalem...
Not only does the text not consist of a complete statement, its related numbers don't line up in any sense of perfection like the NIV's center verses do:
  • The NIV Bible's middle verse number is the 15543rd Bible verse -- not a balanced number like 15551.
  • The verse does not begin on a chapter boundary. It is the 21st of 28 verses is Psalm 102
  • The cross Psalm verse number is 1603 as opposed to 1611 in the KJV.
Along with missing verse text, the evidence for the KJV's accuracy is strong...
It is true that the curious ways the middle KJV Bible verses line up might be coincidence, but when considered with the hundreds of such coincidences I document about the Bible's perfect structure, the chances of all the evidences being a product of chance are very small. In addition, the important text left out of the NIV version also adds to its seeming lack of God's preservation. As you learn more about the Bible's numbering, you will have a more and more difficult time dismissing all these evidences as coincidental.

If people won't look up the facts for themselves about the NIV at least watch this video: http://www.niv-cbt.org/niv-2011-overview/video-featuring-dr-moo/

Seriously !? You reference a website that’s designed by the people with all the money that designed the NIV? That’s not research. Spend 2weeks not doing anything else in your day but validating everything that’s referenced to you. Eventually you’ll find what I did. Faith is more important than “man’s facts”, and my faith told me that Satan influenced Wescott & Hort to advance a false manuscript. The NIV strongly follows these two Catholic loving, Cult Membership, Mary worship sympathizing, back biting, trouble making cowards. You should dig deeper than a fancy website with a hallmark picture. Satan is involved all things NIV… don’t be immature to this. Satan joked at God about Job and God allowed him to wreck Job’s life but not take it completely. It’s not too hard to believe he would allow Satan to deceive even those that want self righteous glory. God wants to see how much we will seek him when satan is doing his conniving. The manuscripts used for the NIV were considered trash by the scholars of those times that they were written. Guess what Denomination decided to use them first?… Starts with Cath and ends with lic. Do your homework so your not a joke for Satan to mock God over.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. KJV Phil 4:8
Alberto, you have much to learn in godliness!

I read your post and checked my bibles. Of the 3 that I have only 1 contains all the verses. The Thompson Chain Reference Study Bible - NIV does not have it. Neither does The Life Application. Only an old New King James bible

  5. Fantastic blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any suggestions? Many thanks!
