Eighty new chapter divisions discovered in The Holy Bible. New teachings from God's Word

The Numbered Bible - A Strange Idea

If you are unfamiliar with my writings this message will at first seem like it's coming from a well- meaning, but foolish student of God's Word. Fortunately, I don't feel a burden to convince any readers that what I say is true. Instead, I simply point out observations and evidence I believe is impossible to deny and let those who look at it decide the value for themselves. I've never before written about this layer of messages in scripture so I'm pretty sure the discovery will be new to you as well.

Layers in the Bible

We are all aware of sections of the Bible that contain messages within them. The largest section we are all aware of is that each book of the Bible has a message for us. At this level of sections, we have 66 messages for us. Next, we have chapters within books and each chapter has a message for us. That's another 1,189 different sections of scripture we can study. At even deeper levels we can find sections of scripture in chapters and books that have specific message for us. These sections often even cross chapter boundaries.  You might know of more "sections" of scripture that contain messages. But there are more divisions of scripture hidden below the surface and we can be sure they are God given because he as divided them up for us.

If you study scripture for awhile, you will discover that that there are many layers of messages that overlay one another. If you had a way to peel one layer of scripture out of the way, another layer would appear. That is, if you removed all book and chapter divisions from the Bible, you might find entirely different divisions beneath them. In other posts I have explained one layer of 1000-verse divisions that make up 31 different sections of the Holy Bible. This is 31 one-thousand verse sections of the Bible's 31,102 verses. Of course, they are the same verses as before but seeing their new beginning and end points reveals new messages.

See post "The Most-Compelling-Evidence-For a Supernatural Bible" to learn about the Bible's 31, 1000-verse divisions of the Bible.

Of course, no human could write such a book, but over my almost 20 years of pouring over the Bible's patterns, I am 100% convinced these God-defined sections are real. Here, I'll describe a set of message divisions in scripture that are designated by counting every 100th set of verses in the New Testament. I've done the counting for you and below I've provided the first verse of every 100 section of verses in the NT.

7,956 NT Verses Make Up 80 of a New Type of Chapter Divisions

There 7,956 verses in the Holy Bible's New Testament. (BTW, I refer to the Holy Bible to differentiate it from other books in the world that have decided to declare themselves as a bible. There is only one Holy Bible, written by our supernatural God. I use the word supernatural to indicate it was written by an intelligence that is outside our known world/universe.)  These 7,956 verses make up 80 different century-type sections of the NT.

I'm not going to try to explain how each of these sections compose aa separate set of messages to us in scripture. Instead, for this first introduction to them, I invite readers to consider the first verse of each of these divisions as if it was the first verse of a numbered "chapter" level in the Bible. Take a moment to think about how each of these might start their own layer of meaning. Imagine that the first and last verses in a section are bookends to a message. You will find that the first verse or so will often introduce the message in the section. Trying to ignore the messages you already know about these same scriptures, read the section with a open mind to some other aspect of these verses that come together to communicate to us.

Just looking at the first verse of every 100-verse section gives strong evidence these one-hundred verse divisions mark significant break-points in the New Testament.,
For the first look at these sections, I suggest looking at these 100th verses to notice how they most often make a point or create some sort of transition in the scripture text. Often, they point out a significant event where something is happening. Even, without examining the other verses I think you can see that these 100th verses of the New Testament are special. Any very importantly, they are not arbitrary verses I've taken out of scripture. They are common in that they each the first of a 100-verse section of the Bible. God made it that way.

One day, I believe we will all be looking at Bible's that contain many more numbers in them that point out the DNA like complexity of God's Word. Sometimes I wonder if God will not generally reveal them to his people until we are in his kingdom. Can you imagine, when we arrive, the first thing we might be given is a new copy of his Numbered Holy Bible with instructions that our study of scripture has just begun.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Look at the 100 section verses below to consider them as significant milestones in God's Word.

I've highlighted a few of these verses as some of the best examples showing how the 100th verses seem to begin a new direction or intersection in scripture. The number at the left is the count of verses in the New Testament.

Not for you today?

I realize this post may represent a new and incomprehensible, if not unbelievable, possibility in God's Word. Never-the-less, I feel it is something I needed to write down for those coming behind me. If it's too wild a thought for you, consider saving it away for some future day when something might prompt you to consider again the possibility.

God Bless you,
Norm

14 of all 22 of the Bible's 18:18 verses incredibly point to sin and relate to 666 - Number of the Beast

One of the best ways to begin to understand God’s number/theme associations is to look at verses where the number you are researching is found multiple times associated with the text (both in the text and in verse numbering). I believe that all the numbers associated with a verse are somehow a clue to its overall interpretation, so when you find multiple like numbers associated with a single verse, the verse text will more obviously give clues to themes for that number. That is, a verse with both chapter and verse number 18 (18:18) will more likely reflect the theme related to #18  in the text than a verse with only chapter or verse of 18 (I.E. 7:18).  For this reason, one of my favorite ways to research the theme association with numbers is to look at verses with the same chapter and verse number. In this blog post I’ll use this method to help demonstrate that the number eighteen is very often found associated with things or events about “sin”.

To be fair, I already have deeply studied this  #18 theme association, so use the examples I show here to understand the concept of learning about number themes -- don’t assume it is my only basis for associating #18 with sin. For example, here’s my best example of a #18 related sin verse – it is found in Revelation 13:18…
Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.

Using number 666 to see the theme for related #18
The number most often associated with great sin in the Bible is the number of the beast which is “666”.  No matter if you think of this number as 666 or 6-6-6 (which some are particular about), how you look at it seems to have no impact to its associated numeric theme. Wherever you find three sixes in the Bible, you will most often find them associated with sin (and sometimes its opposite for every number has both positive and negative associations). #666 is related to #18…

So how am I associating #18 with the number 666? There are hundreds of evidences in Bible numbers, but my favorite to show is this 18th verse of Revelation 13. Not only is the verse number 18 but this also happens to be the Bible’s 1180th chapter which also associates another number eighteen with every verse of the chapter

many different numbers beyond those we are familiar with are associated with every Bible verse so understanding number/verse theme relationships can be complex, but fortunately, the patterns are pretty obvious to understand once you learn how they work.

So this well-known verse at Revelation 13:18 is related to the number of the beast and the number 18 associated with it suggests it might also be associated with number 18?

Once you begin to see the patterns in Biblical numbers, look for relationships of related numbers because closely related numbers have similar themes. In Revelation 13:18 the number 666 can also be seen as 6+6+6 which adds to 18 so this observed relationship could be a clue that their theme relationships are also similar. This related number pattern is so prevalent in scripture that I always examine numbers associated with verses to see how their themes compare. Of course number relationships are just a clue, but these sorts of clues are the kind you want to follow when determining number themes.  Let’s look at another number related to both #18 and sin.

One of the best number examples connecting #18 to sin is #36. Thirty-six is related to #18 in that it can be a product of 2x18 or 6x6 (powers or factors of numbers have related themes).  There are hundreds of Biblical examples of sin that are found with #36. Some chapter 36 examples related to sin are; Ezekiel chapter 36 – v 31 Israel’s sin…..you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good, and you will loathe yourselves; Jeremiah chapter 36—v3 "Perhaps the house of Judah will hear all the calamity which I plan to bring on them, in order that every man will turn from his evil way;  and Psalm 36 - v1 Transgression speaks to the ungodly within his heart; There is no fear of God before his eyes".   There are only nine #36 chapters in the Bible and you will find they all in one form or another relate to sin.

Note that number 36 can also be seen as three sixes -- 6+6+6  (Other examples are 37 being related to 777 and 38 related to 888). I know these at first seem to be contrived number to number relationships, but Bible patterns demonstrate them over and over again.

There’s a lot to absorb in this article, so don’t worry about trusting all these assumptions now, you can verify them for yourself at a later time.

Some of the best clues to observing number 36 is often found related to sin can be seen in Bible verses where the chapter and verse numbers are somehow associated with the numbers three and six. Not only chapter or verse 36 but also to be considered are verses whose chapter and verse are “3:6”. I know this continues to sound more impossible with every paragraph – It may help to remember, I opened this article saying that all the numbers related to a verse help you understand the theme in the text -- so it’s not necessarily how numbers appear as read, but that they exist related to the text (this is a very important consideration when studying Biblical numbers as some Bible translations take the liberty of translating measures such as cubits to feet and yards which corrupts what specific numbers are truly found in the original text).
#36 and original sin in the Bible…Gen 3:6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.

Genesis 3:6 is the most compelling verse related to sin. It is the verse of original sin that occurred when Eve (and Adam) ate the forbidden fruit. This 3:6 referenced verse helps show the relationship of number 36 (666) to the theme of sin…

…some Bible translations take the liberty of translating measures such as cubits to feet and yards which corrupts what specific numbers are truly found in the original text

Examining the text of 18:18 referenced verses to see their association to sin…
So above, I have associated #18 with the numbers 666 and 36. The remainder of this article shows a selection of 14 of the Bible’s 22 verses that have both chapter and verse number of 18 (18:18). If you desire to view other examples, they are found in the books (Gen, Deu, Exo, Lev, Num, Josh, Judg, 1Sam, 2Sam, 1Kin, 2Kin, 2Chr, Job, Psa, Prov, Jer, Eze, Matt, Luke, John, Act, Rev.).

Before beginning to look over the examples -  note that if this is the first time you have seen examples of similar themes in like referenced verses, your first reaction will likely be that the relationship of these verses to “sin” is probably just coincidence. Be discerning, but also use these examples as evidence for a theory instead of them being presented as proof of the Bible’s supernatural numbering. It took me years of observing the preponderance of these patterns before I finally had to conclude they must be real. The only way for anyone to know the truth for themselves is to open your mind to this impossible thing God might have done and examine other evidences of like referenced verses for yourself. The evidence is not difficult to observe for a sincere seeker and might forever change how one thinks of God and Jesus Christ.

Examine these 18:18 verses and observe their "sin" theme...
1Kin 18:18 He said, "…you have forsaken the commandments of the LORD and you have followed the Baals.

Judg 18:18 When these went into Micah's house and took the graven image, the ephod and household idols and the molten image

Rev 18:18 …were crying out as they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, 'What city is like the great city?'

Eze 18:18 "As for his father, because he practiced extortion, robbed his brother and did what was not good among his people, behold, he will die for his iniquity.

John 18:18 (Peter turned away from Jesus, standing with the officers) Now the slaves and the officers were standing having made a charcoal fire, for it was cold and they were warming themselves; and Peter was also with them, standing and warming himself.

2Sam 18:18 Now Absalom in his lifetime had taken and set up for himself a pillar which is in the King's Valley, for he said, "I have no son to preserve my name." So he named the pillar after his own name, and it is called Absalom's Monument to this day.

Lev 18:18  (great sin) 'You shall not marry a woman in addition to her sister as a rival while she is alive, to uncover her nakedness.

Exo 18:18 "You will surely wear out, both yourself and these people who are with you, for the task is too heavy for you; you cannot do it alone.

Job 18:18 "He is driven from light into darkness, And chased from the inhabited world.

Psa 18:18 They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the LORD was my stay.

Prov 18:18 The cast lot puts an end to strife And decides between the mighty ones.

Jer 18:18 Then they said, "Come and let us devise plans against Jeremiah. Surely the law is not going to be lost to the priest…Come on and let us strike at him with our tongue, and let us give no heed to any of his words."

Matt 18:18 "Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven…

Luke 18:18 (he thought he had no sin) A ruler questioned Him, saying, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"

As for the examples not shown here, remember at the beginning of this article I explained the text of each verse is associated with all the numbers related with the verse, so even though I believe the theme for #18 is in every 18:18 verse, the theme may be a bit more difficult to observe in some verses. Don’t expect to comprehend every example.

Only God truly knows his number/theme relationships so you can’t take what I write here as anymore than ideas you can ponder for yourself. Now that you have seen examples of themes in like referenced verses there are thousands of evidences you can use to check this idea out for yourself. Just pick any verse you like and go look at its counterparts. Happy hunting!

Most Easy to Confirm Compelling Evidences for a Perfectly Structured Bible

It is impossible for anyone to at first believe the Bible is perfectly numbered and organized in Book, Chapter and Verse. From our human understanding there is no rational way to comprehend that God would have created his word in a supernaturally perfect way. I certainly did not believe it was possible for many months after I first began seeing the clues that I could not easily dismiss as coincidence.  History as we understand it says the Bible was written by 40 or so authors over a period of 1500 years and that all the books were taken from separate manuscripts that were later canonized in the 300s and then arbitrarily numbered still hundreds of years later. The numbering was thought to be an addition solely so men could reference and share the scriptures. The history we know declares men numbered the Bible, but the mathematically verifiable perfection of numbers can only be explained by being the work of a supernatural creator. This article reveals some of the most compelling evidences anyone can verify for themself that the numbering perfection could very possibly be real.

I’ve been writing about the perfection in Bible numbering (The Numeric Map) and the Redemption Pattern (a perfect plan of salvation and a progression of number and symbol patterns found throughout the Bible) since 2004 (more than seven years) and still today, to my knowledge, there’s less than a handful of people that believe I’m likely correct in my analysis, and none of these is excited enough to bother to try and use the numbering to help them better understand the scriptures. I believe this is as God intended. God will reveal this perfection when he is ready.

I believe God has an accepted time when he will reveal the mathematical perfection of his word.  My personal guess is that it may be part of the reason Jews will one day come to believe Jesus is the messiah and the Only Son of God. Just one example that might lead to this conclusion is that this perfect pattern and numbering can find in the Old Testament and Torah and is also found just as perfectly in the New Testament. When this realization one day becomes commonly discussed public knowledge, the entire world will have an opportunity to know that the Old Testament and the New Testament are two parts to the entire volume of God’s Word and they both point to Jesus as Savior of the World.

Before listing the compelling evidences for the Bible’s numbering I’ve listed some of the major ways I believe the Bible is perfectly structured. This list shows an incredible list of numbers that can be found associated with every verse in the Bible. Only God knows how deep this perfection goes but one way to imagine it is to consider that there are ten or more different sequence numbers associated with every verse of the Bible and when you compare the symbolism related to each of these numbers, you can find the text of the verse somehow also related to all ten numbers. Impossible for men, but nothing is impossible with God. Consider the following ways the Bible is numbered…I believe one day every Bible will be printed with many of these numbers associated with each verse. I have such a Bible available on my website (http://www.amazingword.com/awbible_43_john.htm#John%203 is a link to John chapter 3, the 1000th chapter of the Bible).

  •  The numbers one to ten each have symbolic meaning that can be found everywhere they appear in scripture
  • The text of every verse is directly related to the many numbers associated with the verse. Impossible thought: I can imagine that if we could understand the DNA-like algorithm of God’s numbering, the verses of the Bible might actually be reconstructed through numeric patterns.
  • Chapter and Verse numbers have a direct symbolic relationship to the contents in their text
  • The number of verses in a chapter in some way reflect a message in the chapter
  • The number of chapters in a book in some way reflect a message in the book
  • The number of the book in the Bible (1-66 & 1-57 full books) symbolically related to a theme found in the book
  • Just a few of the numbers that intersect perfectly in every book, chapter and verse are:
  • The Sequence number of books in the Bible (1-66) (39th book last of OT, (40-1=39) Jews not done with wilderness wandering
  • The sequence number of full books in the Bible (1-57 that count books like 1st and 2nd Kings as a single book)
  • The chapter sequence number in every book (In Genesis 8 the Ark rested with the remnant of 8 saved)
  • The cross-bible chapter sequence number (1-1189)   #1000 is John chapter 3 “for God so loved the World”
  • The verse number in every chapter (Lev 8:8 and Deu 33:8 both refer to spirit of God (Urim and Thummin)
  • The cross book verse numbers – The 666th verse of Matthew is Mt 20:18 “they will condemn him (Jesus) to death” (sin)
  • The cross Bible verse numbers (1, 31,102) --- The 7200th verse is the 72nd verse of Ruth that is in the 236th chapter (2x36=72)  Ruth 4:9 “you are witnesses”
  • The numbers found in the text throughout the Bible – Rev “12:6” …woman fled into wilderness for “1260”days…
  • The position number in every list in the Bible The 6th commandment “you shall not murder”
  • And on and on…The perfection of Biblical numbering seems endless

Some of the most compelling evidences for a perfectly numbered Bible
Before I was absolutely convinced the Bible has a structural and numerical perfection, I would have to remind myself I was not crazy for thinking such an impossible thought. I would go through a mental list of some of these evidences to quiet my doubts. I also use items in this list to help others consider the possibility of the Bible’s perfection of numbers and patterns.

  1.  The Center of the Bible -- Psalm 117 is the 595th and exact center chapter of the Bible and is also the shortest and only two verse Bible chapter declaring “Praise the LORD”. An impossible to contrive significance of this chapter and should be pretty difficult for any reasoning person to assume it simply occurred due to coincidence.
  2. The 1000th Bible chapter -- John chapter 3 who many would agree might be the most popularly read chapter of the Bible and the one that has the primary verse on Salvation – John 3:16 “for God so loved the Word…”. This is the exact 1000th chapter and Josephus said number one thousand was God’s number of perfection. Another significance of a key Bible chapter that you would think would be difficult to quickly dismiss as coincidence.
  3. The 24,000th verse of the Bible is Matthew 24:42 “be on the alert, you do not know the Day”. Six different intersections of number 24 symbolism regarding the “Day of the LORD” (24 hours). . This count can be verified by anyone that cares to, and has been confirmed by a mathematician that the chances of all these number 24 items lining up on a single verse is less than one chance in 12,000,000,000 (12 billion. Statistically impossible.
  4. The 7200th Bible verse -- Number 72 and Witnesses -Ruth 4:9 -- Number 72 is associated with witnesses in scripture and two times 72 = 144 a number also associated with witnesses. In the 7200th verse of the Bible Boaz declares all with him are witnesses that he has purchased Naomi, Ruth and all their possessions. This verse directly about witnesses is the 7200th verse; the 72nd verse of the book of Ruth; is in the 236th bible chapter and 2*36=72; and is verse reference 4:9 which is 36 a multiple of 72. An incredible lining up of so many 72 related numbers in a single verse.
  5. Daniel 12:6 and 1260 days is 3.5 years or 42 months which is a time related to tribulation. There are many scriptures related to #1260 and #126 that seem to point to this period of time. The two examples I most often quote are Revelation “12:6” the woman fled into the wilderness for 1260 days and Daniel 12:6 “how long until these things…times, time and a half of time (3.5 years). Pretty amazing coincidences.
  6. The 500th Bible chapter -- The Jubilee chapter, Psalm 22 the 500th where Jesus pays for our sins--The year of Jubilee is every 50th year and 500 is an intense form of the number 50 thus pointing out with the cross bible chapter number that Jesus has freed us through his action on the cross. Jubilee is explained in Lev 25:10 'You shall thus consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim a release through the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, and each of you shall return to his own property, and each of you shall return to his family. Psalm 22 is one of the most famous chapters in the Old Testament that point to Jesus on the Cross. Not likely coincidence that it is the 500th Bible chapter.
  7. 144,000 who go before Jesus -- The verse at Revelation 14:3 tells of the 144,000 who will be purchased from the earth at the Lord's return but it is the next verse that's more important and describes who these 144,000 are. Is it coincidence the verse is Revelation 14:4 (144) whose verse number matches those who it describes? These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they have kept themselves chaste. These {are} the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
  8. The 70 weeks prophecy found in the 770th chapter - Jerimiah 25 is the 770th chapter of the Bible and the entire chapter is centered around the famous 70 week prophecy. Verses 11 and 12 specifically mention the 70 weeks.--Jer 25:11-12 'This whole land will be a desolation and a horror, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon seventy years. v12 'Then it will be when seventy years are completed I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation,' declares the LORD, 'for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans; and I will make it an everlasting desolation.(NASB)
  9. The two exact center verses of the Bible are the first two verses of Psalm 103 both declaring “Bless the LORD”. In a similar way that the exact center chapter of the Bible Psalm 117 declares “Praise the LORD” twice, these 15551st and 15552nd verses are the exact center of the Bible’s 31,102 verses. Psa 103:1 “Bless the LORD, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name”. Psa 103:2 “Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits;”. That exact center verses of the Bible are the first two verses of a chapter that declares over and over again “Bless the LORD” is another impossible to contrive coincidence of the Bible.
  10. The 10,110th Bible verse - God turns time back 10 steps - To prove he is God, in a well known Bible passage God turns back time by moving a shadow on the steps back ten steps. The cross Bible verse number 10110 (10-1-10)  is 2Kin 20:11 where Isaiah the prophet cried to the LORD, and He brought the shadow on the stairway back ten steps by which it had gone down on the stairway of Ahaz. Given all the evidences shown on this page, do you suspect it coincidence this 10,110th verse happens to mention he turned back exactly 10 steps? The cross Bible verse number begins with 10, ends with 10, and has a 1 in the middle.

As I mentioned, I use this list of verifiable facts to help remind myself and others that the numerical perfection of the Bible should not be an idea so easily dismissed. I have 1000s of other evidences that I can also cite, but these are good starter evidences if you are curious at all if my claim the Bible is perfectly numbered might be true. These evidences will not convince anyone of the perfection, but I think they should give every believer a reason to seriously consider the possibility.

The Most Compelling of All Evidences that God Numbered the Bible... 31 Topic Transition Verses

The KJV and like Bibles have 31,102 verses and every 1000th verse is a God established section transition marker

God said with him "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE", but could he have arranged the Bible precisely into 31 sections - each exactly 1000 verses in length? The evidence for this supernatural perfection of Biblical writing is near impossible to ignore. Of course, there's no way for the average person to be able to count off and find every 1000th verse in scripture, but if you could you would find the below list of verses, each one of them being at a very definite transition point in the Bible's text. In every case, a key event or statement is found that ends one section of scripture and begins another. For example, in the 4000th Bible verse at Numbers 10:11 the Pillar of Cloud first moves to begin Israel's wandering; in the 5000th verse Moses asks to enter the promised land and is denied - ending this episode of Israel's history; and in the 9000th verse Solomon's Temple is completed and at this exact place, God enters it in a cloud completing another episode in Biblical history. All the other of the 31 transition verses have an equally compelling message to declare. I believe future published copies of the Torah and the Bible will specifically note these 1000 verse sections so everyone may study them.

BUT SUCH SUPERNATURAL CONSTRUCTION IS IMPOSSIBLE ACCORDING TO WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT HOW THE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE CAME TOGETHER... Yes, but...
Mrk 10:27 Looking at them, Jesus *said, "With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God."
Why is this so compelling?
What makes these one thousand verse sections so compelling is that the transition verses that mark them are so clearly visible and that their exact 1000 verse locations could not be contrived.  It's very difficult for people to accept other evidences of numbering perfection I have written about because the numbering/text patterns might possibly be contrived out of my imagination. But these 1000th verse section verses could not have been contrived by me. One might disagree that they are transition points, but these are a very definate set of repeatable evidences that together as a whole tell a story that I believe says only a supernatural God could have created the KJV Bible as we know it today.

The List of all the Bible's 1000th verses
Below I’ve provided a reference for these 31 transition verses. Even if you are not so sure of the compelling nature of this perfect pattern, this list is still a valuable tool in noticing some major breakpoints in the events of scripture.
