God strongly reminds us he has not forgotten us in spite the events happening in our world

Hidden mysteries in the Bible – In difficult times God strongly reminds us he has not forgotten us in spite the events happening in our world. The message of the Bible's 11:11 verses confirms that God is faithful; does love us; is protecting us; and will take revenge on the wicked...

Num 11:11 So Moses said to the LORD, "Why have You been so hard on Your servant? …that You have laid the burden of all this people on me?

I often refer to the number 11 as a number of warning and we can see this number 11 used in our world in the number 911 that is used as a call for help and also a number associated with God’s warning nations not following him of their upcoming pending disaster. In this post I’ll show how the Bible’s like referenced verses for chapter 11 verse 11 show us how God is also warning us of disaster to the wicked that don’t follow him and also is telling us that he will one day return for those who have been faithful. In this message where God is reminding us that he will take care of us, it seems at these times the people he is talking to are feeling condemned or forgotten and have little faith. This warning from God to the faithful is a warning not to lose their faith in him and what he has promised. He is strongly reminding us that he loves us in spite of the circumstances.

The Bible is Supernaturally Numbered to Help Us Interpret It

If you believe God truly can do anything then you can consider it possible that God might even have numbered every book chapter and verse of the Bible. In my twitter, blog and website posts I demonstrate God’s divine structure of the Bible in many ways. In this example I show how the Bible’s like referenced verses with reference 11:11 reveal and confirm God’s Word to us that the LORD will deliver his people and destroy the wicked.

Below I’ve shown 27 of all 31 Bible verses with a chapter and verse reference of 11:11.  Both these sets of verses contain the same theme but from two different aspects. The first shows how God will protect his people by destroying the wicked and at the same time delivering them. The second set speaks of the different ways in different events throughout Scripture where God comes to deliver his people. To help us understand the meaning of number 11 in the Bible, lets first look at some other Bible text associated with the number 11.

  • Genesis 11  - is the story of the Tower of Babel that had been created by Nimrod a rebel against God. In chapter 10 we see that Nimrod went forth into Assyria, and built Nineveh and Rehoboth-Ir and Calah and the great city Babel. The people of Babel had declared to make a city and a tower to heaven to make a name for themselves and so they would not be scattered across the earth. In this chapter 11 God came down to see this tower and the people and he decided to confuse their language and then did scatter them across the earth. Thus, here is a chapter 11 example where God came down to the people and foiled the wicked’s plans and destroyed their cities.
  • Psalm 11 – in this 11th Psalm we see a similar theme where the Lord tests the righteous and the wicked and how he rains terror down on the wicked. -- V5 The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, And the one who loves violence His soul hates. v6 Upon the wicked He will rain snares; Fire and brimstone and burning wind will be the portion of their cup. v7 For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness; The upright will behold His face.
  • Matthew 11 (the 11th chapter of the New Testament) - repeating this common number 11 theme, in Matthew 11 Jesus comes into Jerusalem and begins to condemn the cities who were no longer following him and says it would be more tolerable in the last days than it was for Tyre and Sidon in the time of Sodom and Gomorrah. V20 Then He began to denounce the cities in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent. v21 "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had occurred in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. v22 "Nevertheless I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in {the} day of judgment than for you.
For more evidence as to the meaning of number 11 reflected in the Bible’s other Chapter 11’s, consider the theme and events of those chapters and how they might relate to this theme of God testing and preserving his people and destroying the wicked.

To help separate and clarify the two aspects of the theme associated with number 11 shown in the Bible’s 11:11 verses, I’ve separated the verses into two groups. First, those verses that show how God warned us of these events and the second how he carried out his promise in multiple points in Israel’s history.

God Warns the People he Loves them while at the same time they are feeling disciplined and left. He will return for them--

Zech 11:11 (The LORD breaks his covenant with Lebanon – they will destroy each other) So it was broken on that day, and thus the afflicted of the flock who were watching me realized that it was the word of the LORD.

 Conclusion

So what we’ve shown through these passages with verse and chapter number 11 is that only a supernatural God could have numbered the Bible in such a way as to leave hidden messages for us helping reveal and provide understanding of his word. The message in the 11:11 verses reveal in a very concrete way that this message is true and not to be mistaken – – God knows the wicked and one day will destroy them, and he knows his people Israel  and one day he will call them back as he promised long ago.
