Revealing the secret concealed and sealed up words of Daniel 12:9 "Go your way, Daniel, these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time.

Revealing the secret concealed and sealed up words of Daniel 12:9

In Daniel chapter 12, The Lord reveals some of the details of the last 3 ½ years of end times tribulation. But when Daniel asks about what the final ending of these events are, The Lord says this information is “concealed”, not to be revealed until the end times. Note, it does not say the details are not included, but that they are concealed as in kept out of view or like carrying a concealed weapon.

Definition of concealed
kept out of sight or hidden from view,
IE  carrying a concealed weapon

“concealed,” Merriam-Webster.com Dictionary, https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/concealed. Accessed 7/9/2021.

The text in Daniel 12:9 suggests the answer to Daniel’s question is simply hidden from view until the time comes to reveal it later. I suspect that at least some of the answer Daniel was seeking is contained in the Holy Bible’s other 12:9 verses. See my other blog posts (http://amazingword.blogspot.com/) for more information about the common themes found in Like Referenced Verses. In short, every set of verses in scripture, with the same chapter and verse number, contain a common theme that helps interpret deeper meanings in the text. The common theme in the 12:9 verses appear to be about the second half of the seven-year tribulation events.

Examine the text of Daniel chapter 12 below while considering these points:

  •  In Dan 12:8 Daniel asks "My lord, what will be the outcome of these events?"
  •  Notice the yellow highlighted text below contains the word conceal – Interesting.
  •  In Dan 12:9 The Lord responds “these words are concealed until the end time” (days we are living in?)
  • If you look at the like-referenced 12:9 verses of the Bible consider if you think their theme is related to the theme of Dan 12:9?
  • At the bottom of this article is an example of HYPER LIKE-REFERENCED verses showing how chapter and verse relate to verse text in the Bible’s 14:14 verses.

------DANIEL CHAPTER 12 END TIMES PROPHECY (some verses omitted for brevity)

I’ve inserted some of the Bible’s 12:9 verses into the text of Daniel 12:1-13 below.

Dan 12:1 "Now at that time Michael… will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never before occurred… everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued.
Dan 12:2 "Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.
Dan 12:4 "But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; …"
Dan 12:5 Then I, Daniel, looked and behold, two others were standing,…
Dan 12:6 And one said to the man dressed in linen, "How long will it be until the end of these wonders?"
Dan 12:7 I heard the man dressed in linen, … swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time;
Dan 12:8 As for me, I heard but could not understand; so I said,
"My lord, what will be the outcome of these events?"
Dan 12:9 He said, "Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time.
is God saying the following verses reveal some of what to expect 3 ½ years into the tribulation?

Zech 12:9 "And in that day I will set about to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem
Mrk 12:9 "What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the vine-growers and will give the vineyard to others.

Num 12:9 So the anger of the LORD burned against them, and He departed.
(kind of like rapture?)

(kind of like rapture?)
John 12:9 The large crowd of the Jews then learned that He was there; and they came, not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He raised from the dead.

Luke 12:9 but he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.
Act 12:9 ...he did not know that what was being done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.

Deu 12:9 for you have not as yet come to the resting place and the inheritance which the LORD your God is giving you.
(rapture?)
Job 12:9 "Who among all these does not know That the hand of the LORD has done this,

Dan 12:10 "Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.
Dan 12:11 "From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.
รง=== notice the 1290 days here (ref 12:9 verses-likely)

OPTIONAL EXAMPLE: Demonstrating how the like referenced 14:14 verses have a common theme of Jesus, King of Kings

Number 14 has a theme in scripture of Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The Bible’s 14:14 verses are a great example of how “like referenced HYPER verses” (both chapter and verse are the same number) reveal the theme of number 14 in their text. Take special note how most of the verses refer the Lord twice (except Isa 14:14 which refers to Satan twice). The double reference shows the text has contents related to both chapter 14 and verse 14.

  • Rev 14:14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was one like a son of man, having a golden crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand.
  • Num 14:14 …You, O LORD, are in the midst of this people, for You, O LORD, are seen eye to eye, while Your cloud stands over them; and You go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.
  • John 14:14 "If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.
  • 1Chr 14:14 David inquired again of God, and God said to him, "You shall not go up after them;…
  • 1Kin 14:14 "Moreover, the LORD will raise up for Himself a king over Israel who will cut off the house of Jeroboam this day…
  • 2Sam 14:14 "…Yet God does not take away life, but plans ways so that the banished one will not be cast out from him.
  • Act 14:14 …you should turn from these vain things to a living God, WHO MADE THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH AND THE SEA AND ALL THAT IS IN THEM
  • Mrk 14:14 …'The Teacher says, "Where is My guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?'"
  • Isa 14:14 'I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High. (Satan – ascend above – kind of like rapture)'
  • Matt 14:14 When He went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and felt compassion for them and healed their sick.
  • Exo 14:14 "The LORD will fight for you while you keep silent."
  • 2Chr 14:14 They destroyed all the cities around Gerar, for the dread of the LORD had fallen on them;…
