Earthquakes, storms, rocks and the Bible...
It is no coincidence the counts of the number of times words are used in the Bible have meaning. The counts relate to biblical themes the numbers are associated with and help us validate and discover the meanings of numbers. An easy to see example is related to how the word "ROCKS" is used in the Bible.
The word "ROCKS" occurs 18 times in scripture and 18 is a number often related to affliction, great sin and to the return of the Lord in the last days. To help support the evidence for this theme there are other biblical numbers that have direct relationship to the number 18 and many of these are also shown reflected in these same 18 verses. The Number eighteen relates to these other numbers -- The number of the beast is 666 (3x6=18) and is found in Revelation 13:18. Eighteen is associated with affliction and with times before the end which is demonstrated in the related number 99 (9+9=18) as 99 is the last number before a new count starts with 100. It is the same for 999 and 1000. These numbers are about things that are yet to happen (the future) and often about the last things before something new begins.
I've written in earlier documents about number 29 which may be the strongest number related to the return of the Lord and 29 is another way of expressing both 99 and surprisingly 911 which is a number of warning to nations (Daniel 9:11). It is also worth noting how four of these verses have strong association to number 61 (16) as 61 is the 18th prime number-another association to number 18.. Two of the 18 verses have the same reference of 16:16 which is interesting in itself and it is worth noting that this can be a way of expressing 36 which is 2 times 18 and 6 times 6 which is 36 (666); All these numbers relate to sin and redemption. For those new to biblical numeric's, such number associations seem contrived, but when you examine patterns in how numbers and text are related in the scriptures, the number relationships prove themselves to be real. One good example of this is another well known sin related biblical verse - Genesis 3:6 (2x18 or 36 or 3x6) which is the verse of original sin where Eve took of the fruit which God forbid.
As an example of the number text relationships of 18, 29, 36, 99, 61 and 911--following are eleven examples of the eighteen Bible verses that contain the word "ROCKS". It seems no accident this word occurs 18 times in 18 verses and that they most all have to do with sin and God's wrath. Rocks are related to sin and are likely related to the biblical references to "stumbling block" or stone. These verses show that rocks are often associated to earthquakes and storms.and references to the Lord's return. These and other passages suggest that Jesus return is accompanied by earthquakes. Judge for yourself if you see the number/text pattern in these verses.
1Kin 19:11 ...behold, the LORD was passing by! And a great and strong wind was rending the mountains and breaking in pieces the rocks before the LORD; {but} the LORD {was} not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, {but} the LORD {was} not in the earthquake.
