More evidence for #92 and 9:22 - "The Word of the Lord Came to" - 92 times

It is very interesting and useful to count phrases in the scriptures. I use the NASB and find that, as a translation, it seems very consistent in translating words and phrases such that knowing how many times a phrase occurs can line up and help understand the themes of Biblical numbers.

In the previous post I explained how the Bible's 9:22 like referenced verses have a theme related to the Lord God making himself known to us. That he has made himself known to us; does make himself known to us; and will one day return to make sure everyone knows who he is. 29, 92 and 99 are all numbers related to the Lord coming and making himself known.

It is interesting to discover that the phrase "Then the word of the LORD came to.." occurs 92 times in the Bible and the last occurrence is found at Zechariah 7:8, the 92nd verse of the book and in chapter 7 which is the 918th chapter - I personally don't believe it is coincidence the 918 chapter number can be reduced in gematria style to 99 (or 2 nines). We all know history tells us all the reasons the Bible's structure cannot be numerically perfect but the evidence demonstrates the impossible has happened. How, I believe God worked through all the writers to get exactly what he wanted and they had no idea this was happening. We have a mighty God that is powerful beyond our wildest imagination.

In the same way that the Bible's 9:22 verses tell us God makes himself known to us, we find this phrase "The word of the Lord came to..." is directly related to the Lord making himself known to us. He tells us about himself.

  1. I love this post. Thanks for your insights into the Gematria and numbers of 92, 99. God's Word is awesome. It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the honor of kings to search it out.
