The number twenty-four in the Holy Bible is clearly associated with the promised coming of Jesus Christ to resurrect the dead and judge the just and the unjust. One of the most compelling evidences of this association is the miracle of the 24,000th verse of the Holy Bible Matthew 24:42 which states "Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.". This is the 42nd verse (#24 in reverse) of the 24th chapter of Matthew referred to as the "Olivet Discourse" - The conversation that Jesus had with His disciples on top of the Mount of Olives. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=do1tVBiPoYs
To sum up the associations of this verse with the number twenty-four:
- It is the 24,000th verse of the Holy Bible (ESV, NIV, NASB, KJV...)
- It is in the 24th chapter
- The chapter is about the coming "Day of the LORD" (24 hours)
- The verse is about the coming "Day of the LORD"
- It is the 42nd verse - the numbers 2 and 4 reversed (Gematria)
- It refers to this future day/hour (appointed time) ("...you know not what HOUR...")
As I have documented in many other articles, all numbers in the Holy Bible have consistent associations related to the number. Either to the number directly, some associations to the number (IE day and 24 hours), events associated with the number or labels/names associated with numbers, occurrence numbers in lists, etc.
One great way to see the consistency of numbers in scripture is to watch the Bible's chapter numbers. For example, I've included a list of every chapter 24 in the Holy Bible with a list of brief descriptions I have prepared to provide a hint at what the chapter is about. Virtually every chapter has some association or likeness to the future coming of the LORD Jesus Christ.
I hope after examining this list you might begin to conceive that God just might have divinely numbered our Bible. That's not as far-fetched an idea as you might guess as most believers already accept that God inspired and constructed the exact words in our Bible's text that was written over a period of 2000 years by 20 or so authors. Whose to say he did not pre-number the Bible's verses at the same time - keeping them hidden until he revealed them later to other men.

Watch the Bible's chapter numbers for amazing clues to what the content of chapters are about. You might start with chapter sixes which deal with the consequences of our sin and our need to turn from sin. Genesis chapter six is a good start.
