Just a quick post to share one of the best examples of the Bible Like Referenced Verse Sets that help us understand the meaning of God's numbers. As I've mentioned in many other blog posts, like referenced verses of the Bible have a common theme of meaning running through them. When the chapter and verse numbers are the same, such as in the Bible's 2:22 verses, we find themes that are very reflective of the symbolism of that number (IE number 2).

The number two is symbolic of these types of things; Jesus (who is 2nd to God); a redeemer who is sent to ave us; things joined together or things in pairs, love and other similar themes. Of course, like all numbers, each has positive and negative symbolism, so number two can also be related to things opposite to these meanings such as; things that take us away from God, things that don't love, things being separated or torn apart, etc.

Below I've provided a list of most of the Bible's 38 verses that have a chapter and verse reference of 2:22. Observe them to better understand the hyper number 2 (#2 three times) and what symbolism the Bible's associates with this number. Watch for these in your Bible reading and they will help teach you how to discern the meanings of Biblical numbers.

The Bible's numbering is an impossible miracle that the LORD God has prepared for us in His Word.  It looks coincidental for a long time even after you being observing their perfection. If you observe them, eventually, you will be surprised in a tremendous heart-felt way, how holy, the HOLY BIBLE truly is.

 

#9 - One-line descriptions for each of the Bible's Chapter Nines Tell Us About Serving Until Jesus Returns.

Were you aware that anything found in the Bible related to number nine has some aspect of it related to Christians persevering in service while eagerly awaiting for Jesus to return to save his people. For non-believers, number nine speaks about their failure to listen to the Lord, study his word and hear his message of salvation.Number nine is associated to text about those who have turned away from God or somehow turned to their other gods to seek a way to be saved

One of the easiest ways to verify this for yourself is to examine the Bible's chapter nines and look for the chapter nine theme contained in them. Watch how consistently each one has some aspect of them dealing with sin or what to do to stay away from sin...

God's symbolic meaning of numbers in His Word and in the world are one way he has left to show us very clear and unmistakable messages to confirm what the Bible says. They are not difficult to see, you just have to be willing to look for them. A great encouragement for us in these last days...

The Themes Associated With Number Nine

Below I have given a very short one line summary about each of the Bible's chapter nines. Note how they contain themes and textual content related to these concepts:

1. Number 9 is about the future and about one coming for us. Sometimes this is about passing by, or crossing over, or coming down.
2. We are to be ready and waiting for Jesus to return for his Godly people who have listened to his word, and believed his message.
3. We are to be carrying out the commands and instructions of that God has left for us. We are to be faithfully and diligently serving him in spreading the Gospel and caring for his land.
4. We are to obey the commands and instructions God gave us in his word.
5. God's wrath and consequences for turning away from him to other Gods will not go unpunished.
6. God will have great rewards for believers upon his return.
7. God constantly reminds us that we cannot be saved through our own efforts. We can only depend on the free gift of salvation he always offers us. All we need do is to accept it from him

Brief Descriptions of the Bible's Chapter Nines

• Genesis 9 - Instructions for Noah to serve...be fruitful and multiply; Covenant with future generations. Canaan is cursed.
• Exodus 9 - Moses warns Pharoah release Jews. Plagues begin to proclaim God's power and His name through all the earth
• Leviticus 9 - The Glory of the LORD appears to all the people after sacrafices were made and the people were blessed (99th Bible chapter)
• Numbers 9 - The firey cloud appears over the new tabernacle and the people followed it whenever and wherever it went
• Deuteronomy 9 - Israel is to cross the land to dispossess nations greater than they are.They are warned, the Lord's strength brought them this far and goes before them now.
• Joshua 9 - The people of Gibeon deceived Joshua and Israel so they did not obey the Lord and remove them from the land.
• Judges 9 - Abimelech; Subjugation of Canaan. The danger of trusting in human wisdom without God's supernatural direction.
• 1Samuel 9 - Saul is going through the land for his father looking for lost donkeys and God leads him to Samuel to be anointed king.
• 2Samuel 9 - David’s cares for Jonathan's lame son Mephibosheth fulfilling his promise to care for the family of the King's son.

• Ezra 9 - Ezra's Prayer recognizing Israel has been left an escaped remnant, before God in their guilt, for no one can stand before Him
• Nehemiah 9 - People of Israel separated themselves from foreigners, read from God's Word, confessed, worshiped, and declared themselves slaves to God and to the land God gave them.
• Ester 9 - The Jews rid themselves of their enemies and established feast of Purim for celebrating their freedom with feasting, rejoicing and sending food and gifts to each other
• Job 9 - Job argues, no man can be right before God. We guilty and condemned. Why toil to please him in vain. Simply seek his forgiveness.
• Psalms 9 - Praise God! Those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You have not forsaken those who seek You. Let the nations be judged that they are but men.

• Mark 9 - Jesus comes down from mountain (transfiguration). He condems their unbelief and casts out demons, Those who serve in Jesus name shall not lose their reward. The last shall be first.
• Luke 9 - Jesus in glory comes down mountain (transfiguration). Days approaching for His ascension. Disciples sent out, followers taken, unbelievers scolded--whoever wishes to save his life will lose it.
• John 9 - "Do you believe in the Son of Man?"" Jesus passing by... some following him, some questioning him. Unbelievers scolded. Who sinned debated, but Jesus said you only need to believe in Him to be saved"
• Acts 9 - Jesus comes down and appears and blinds Saul as he is chosen to suffer and bear Jesus name before kings, Jews and Gentiles; Church grows as Paul and Peter go throughout the land preaching the Word of God.
• Romans 9 - Paul's great sorrow that ""though the number of the sons of Israel be like the sand of the sea, it is only the remnant that will be saved"". Israel does not pursue salvation by faith but by works."
• 1Corinthians 9 - Running the race: Paul speaks of his responsibility and freedom to diligently preach the Gospel so he also may partake in its rewards. Those who serve and sow spiritual things shall also reap material things to support their efforts.
• 2Corinthians 9 - Need to give spiritual gifts. He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. God will provide to those who glorify God and for their obedience to sharing our confession of the gospel of Christ
• Hebrews 9 - Jesus first came as sacrafice for sin. Until he comes again our gifts and sacrafices cannot make us perfect. Men are appointed to die and for Judgement. Christ will appear a second time for the salvation of those who eagerly await Him.
• Revelation 9 - A star came from heaven to earth and the key of the bottomless pit given to him. Locusts came from the pit to torment godless men being judged because they did not repent of their wickedness

Hard to believe this Pattern of Chapter Nines is Real?

It is very difficult to imagine that God did actually divinely inspire the Bible's numbering and even write the text to fit his numbers. The best way to gradually confirm this for yourself is to examine the themes and numbers for other chapters and notice how they differ from number nine. A recent post I wrote was about the Bible's chapter number 8 themes. Note the consistency of the themes for chapter eights and how it is very different from that of chapter nines. The more you examine each Bible number, the more you will be convinced they have great value in understanding God's Word.

The Bible’s 6:12 verses (666 related) contain a common theme of great sin

The Bible’s 6:12 verses (666 related) have a strong theme of great sin running through them….

Previous posts have shown examples of how verses with the same chapter and verse have a related theme running through them.  In the Bible’s 6:12 verses we find a preponderance of evidence the theme running through them is about great sin, or staying away from sin. The verse reference 6:12 might also be seen as related to 6:6+6 or 666 which we know is a number related to the beast of revelation and to great sin. Look at the following complete list of 6:12 verses found in the Bible.  There are a total of 40 such verse references and I’ve separated out the most compelling examples from the ones that are not as obvious. Of the 40, the first list below shows 19 that seem to point to great sin. Even if you don’t imagine the second list to have any such association (but they do), even this set of 19 verses with the chapter and verse reference of 6:12 (666) are pretty compelling evidence there is some sort of a theme association going on between the Bible’s like referenced verses. How could this have happened? – only if a supernatural God, the one and only God, himself prepared the Bible.

A supernatural likeness of the Bible's 6:12 verses reveal themes about sin, confession and offerings of atonement

I sometimes hesitate to write about how the Bible's chapter and verse numbers are God inspired and have a direct correspondence to the message in their text, but the evidence is sometimes so compelling that I feel it is worth sharing so others can see this numeric perfection for themselves. For those of you that are convinced this is impossible, remember that God says he does the impossible - then take a few seconds to check out the evidence for yourself.

There are forty verses in the Bible with a verse reference of 6:12... and at first glance they seem obviously related to sin and repentance, but as I happened upon them today, I observed one of them at Daniel 6:12 is one I also write about in relationship to the number 180 because it is both the 180th verse of Daniel, and has a message related to the theme of 180 which is that of turning direction. (when thinking of the 180 theme, compare it to a 180 degree angle which is two straight lines in opposite directions from each other). I then noticed that numbers in verse reference of 6:12 can be added to make 18 which I know to be related to #180 with the theme of sin and turning from sin. I know this sounds like number soup, but I think if you take a quick look at a few of the 6:12 evidence verses provided below you will observe the correspondence between the text of the verses and the number pattern. Interesting evidence for the theme for 18/180 is also found in Revelation 13:18 which speaks of the number of the beast being 666 which also can be seen as 6+6+6 or 18. The Numeric Map's perfection is also revealed by seeing how this verse relates to 18 by its presence in the 1180th chapter of the Bible, and is the 229th verse of Revelation - 2x9=18 (these number relationships may sound contrived, but 1000's of Biblical examples demonstrate these same gematria related numeric patterns).

The relationship of the verse reference number of  6:12 appears directly related in both textual theme and number meaning to numbers 18 and 180. Their themes are related to direction and can be revealed in text that tells of; turning in an opposite directions; changing direction; turning away from God - sinning; turning toward God - repenting; things opposing or opposite of each other; or still other turning/directional themes.

Below are 21 of the Bible's 40 verses with a reference of 6:12 that provide the most clear evidence for the text/verse reference relationship (ones not included here are also consistent with the theme). As you take a quick look at these 180 related verses, consider how strong their relationship to the 180 theme and how many of them are well known Bible verses related to sin, confession and offerings for sin. Even if you are tempted to dismiss these as just interesting coincidences - with the many other evidences I present about the Bible's DNA like Numeric Map, at some point the average person should begin to wonder if there is something supernatural about this numeric pattern in scripture.



Look for the 180 theme of turning direction or sin and repentence in these 21 verses with the 6:12 (18) reference number...

Conclusion...

The chapter and verse reference of any verse provides clues to its message and by examining other like reference verses your interpretation of scripture will be more accurate. I have found many times when I was not quite sure of what the text of a verse was about until I examined other verses with the same reference number. The Bible's Numeric Map is more than a curiosity - it is a guide to interpreting the Bible.

Apprehension about Biblical Numbers – wonder and fear Numerology?

Virtually everyone I know, including myself at one time, has significant apprehension about investigating the Bible's numbers. The occult's misuse of numbers for thousands of years has people fearing they might be dragged off by evil if they even dare to begin examining the Bible with numbers in mind. At the same time, I think many people suppose the numbers in biblical text have some symbolism, but since they have really never been clearly explained, they are largely dismissed  as unimportant to Bible study. Can you imagine how happy Satan must be that he has good people running from one of the most helpful tools for understanding scripture? He's done a great job over the years of making sure we would not believe the concepts of the Bible's numbers should they ever be uncovered.

I think most people that have looked at a few of my writings about biblical numbers are at first surprised at how believable some of the examples are. The many evidences I present are quite compelling and should make the average person wonder if it is truly possible - how could the middle chapter of the Bible be the shortest and only two verse chapter? (Ps 117); how could John 3, home of John 3:16, just happen to be the 1000th chapter of the Bible?; how could maybe the most intense verse of the Bible on forgiveness of sin just happen to be the 17777th Bible verse? Isaiah 6:7  "… your sin is forgiven…".  Before our taboos take over and we catch ourselves wondering if this could be God's work – everything in us says it couldn't be true. It cannot be argued - everything we know about the Bible's creation declares, from our human perspective, the structure of the Bible and its numbers cannot be perfect. That's what I once thought, but the preponderance of evidence eventually overwhelmed my disbelief. The impossible appears to have happened. It should be no surprise…have you seen this Bible verse…

My learning process…More than ten years ago now I began to catch glimpses of number patterns in the Bible because that's what my mind does - I'm one of those people that dosen't learn and understand things the same way others do. I have a diagnosed learning disability which includes, among other things, a truly terrible memory.  Like others with learning disabilities, it does not say we are not as smart as others, but rather that we learn differently. I suppose my brain has had to adapt to learn in different ways and those ways seem to allow me to notice patterns in things that others don't typically see. Anyway, for whatever reason, Long ago I began to notice what appeared to be patterns between the Bible's numbers in the text, and the meanings in the text itself. At first I did not believe what I was seeing - I would dismiss example after example until about three years went by and I could not dismiss what I saw any longer. As a course of normal Bible study, they were popping off the page too often to be by chance. It's been more than ten years now, and ever so gradually I've put together pieces of how the numbers fit and how they relate to the text. That's what my website and other writings are about.

So what do I believe about the Bible and it's numbers?

Matt 5:18 "For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

I suppose many of us have wondered about the verse at Matthew 5:18 that declares the perfection of God's Word. A verse that says God's word is perfectly inspired and preserved by him. While most of us believers will agree and declare God's inspiration of his word, we then go on to teach it as if it's not inspired. We are continually trying to sort out what we don't understand through our own human thought, and then try to read things into what the original author must have meant. Our excuse - very often we dismiss this verse by saying the original manuscripts may have been perfect,  but we don't know if our Bible truly reflects the original writings. Others of us simply imagine the concept of inspiration to be a more general than specific revelation of God's thoughts.

Ask yourself…God said he would preserve his word – do we think that the creator of the universe cannot create and preserve one single book he left for us? I think most of us would never think that, but the question is…did he?

I believe God worked through the pens of men to create a perfect Bible and I cannot imagine men were aware of the level of perfection they were involved in recording. I believe, through men, God wrote every book of the Bible; caused the exact books he desired to be selected, ordered and brought together in exactly the manner and time he desired; and every book, chapter, and verse were numbered from the beginning and then God insured they were perfectly added to the printed word when the time was right. For myself – I know without any doubt this is true. How? The numbers reveal a perfect DNA like alignment with the text of scripture that cannot be denied once you observe it. The perfection of numbers mathematically confirms the preciseness of God's Word. Of thousands of examples I've documented, the two most easy to explain and comprehend are verses at Ruth 4:9 and Matthew 24:42.

Ruth 4:9 an amazing intersection of text and numbers…
Ruth 4:9 is a key verse where Boaz declares the people in front of him are "witnesses" that he has paid the price and purchased back Naomi and her possessions, including Ruth - A picture of Jesus redeeming his people with the price of his blood. I believe this very important verse has been supernaturally highlighted with God's numbers so that at the appropriate time, we could observe his perfection for ourselves. To explain this perfection of numbers - this is the 7200th verse of the Bible; the 72nd verse of  Ruth; in the 236th chapter (2x36=72); has a verse reference of 4:9 (4x9=36, x2=72) and most importantly, the theme of the text about "witnessing" is perfectly aligned with the #72 found throughout scripture to be associated with the same theme. How do we associate the number 72 and witnessing? There's too much evidence for this to explain here, but consider these related facts; the 2700th Bible verse (strongly related to #72) speaks of the ark of the testimony which is a witness to God. This verse at Exodus 39:35 simply says "the ark of the testimony and its poles and the mercy seat;" – a direct correspondence of text and number meaning at a precise and somewhat curious cross Bible verse number.  Another strongly 72 related verse is the 7700th verse of the Bible at 1Samuel 18:23. In gematria, the number 77 can be seen as two sevens (27),  or seven twice (72). In this verse Saul's servants testify to David "Behold, the king delights in you, and all his servants love you; now therefore, become the king's son-in-law.' " – another testimony to the sonship of David and alusion to Jesus, being the son of God. Is it beyond the probability of chance all these things line up accidentally.

Matthew 24:42 a second incredible intersection of text and numbers…
The 24,000th verse of the Bible appears supernaturally highlighted so that we might one day see God's perfection in his word and take in the impact of the importance of this specific message – The Lord will return – be truly on the alert for this day. There are an impossible six different levels of intersection with this verse's position in the Bible, the numbers related to this position, and the text that corresponds to the numbers. The six different numerical intersections are; 1) this is the 24,000th verse of the Bible; 2) is found in the 24th chapter; 3) in a chapter about the "DAY" of the Lord's return; 4) a day has 24 hours; 5) this verse is specifically about being on the alert for this DAY and says "Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming"; and 6) this is the 42nd verse of Matthew 24 and #42 is simply the digits for the #24 in reverse order. The laws of probability say the chances of these six different intersections occuring at one single verse location is billions to one. An impossibility in the scientific sense.

These two examples tell us - even though our mind cannot conceive this DNA like perfection of the Bible is even remotely possible (and no one would disagree), these and thousands of other examples of such number alignments declares it is so. We are faced with a difficult question – do we believe what we imagine to be true, or do we believe the numbers and the Matthew 5:18 declaration by God himself that his word is perfect. I believe any scientist that truly studies these facts cannot conclude anything other than perfection.

Why? Even if this perfection does exist, why does it matter to the average person?
There's too many different values to knowing the Bible's Redemption Pattern and Numeric Map to go into here, so I will just mention a couple of the most obvious ones. First, it confirms without any doubt the Bible's Old Testament and New Testament are two inseparable parts of one God authored book. If you are a Jew, this is a shocking statement - The same exact supernatural number patterns that are found in the Torah are also found in the New Testament. As a general believer, if you wonder if the Bible is accurate, you need not wonder any more. Secondly, the numbers in the Bible are as much a part of the text of scripture as the text itself. I believe the numbers are a type of Numeric Map to the text of the Bible. If you understand the numbers, then you can better understand the text because perfectly consistent themes are always associated with the same verifiable numbers. Another way of saying this is - The text associated with numbers help us understand number themes and the number theme associations, once you understand them, provide invaluable guides to interpreting the text.

Do I understand the numbers well?
One last comment…I hope no one thinks I claim to have a good understanding of God's Numbers, any more than I have a good understanding of God's Word. His word has proven over history to be a mystery of mysteries – we will never fully comprehend it. The numbers are the same – we can learn from them and use them, but I would never claim to have an "understanding" of them. I have simply observed the tip of the iceberg of a pattern that will forever reveal more secrets of God, as long as we continue to study it. I should add, although I cannot declare this with certainty, I strongly suspect God has allowed me to see these things so I can tell others. I don't think I'm any more perceptive than the millions of people who have already studied God's word for thousands of years, so I don't think this happens to be a discovery we just now stumbled over. I like to think that God has all along planned when and how these secrets would be revealed, and now is apparently that time.

Descriptions of the 28 chapters of Matthew line up with Numeric Map #1-#28

I've added a full copy of a numerically mapped King James Bible to my website for those interested in investigating the Redemption Pattern and Numeric Map for themselves. It is not intended to compete with other online Bible study tools, but rather to provide number information not found in other Bibles. One of the features I use myself is the list of chapter descriptions included at the front of each book. I try to update these descriptions as I study as the original list started from a non-copyrighted one I found years ago. You can usually tell my newer descriptions as they tend to be longer than just a couple of words. Today I completed rewriting all the descriptions of the 28 chapters of Matthew and I think you might find them interesting. As I started out, I did not intend to make them fit the number themes of the Numeric Map, but I should have known they would if I did them correctly.

The list of descriptions for chapters in Matthew 1-28 might be worthy of printing off and keeping a copy in your Bible as I think it gives a good perspective of the overall message of the first book of the New Testament. Like everything in the Bible, it follows the Redemption Pattern which is about God's progressive plan of salvation. If you read through Matthew while keeping an eye on the chapter descriptions you will find a series of events and teachings that sequentially take you on the walk of the steps of being saved as well as a picture of past, present and future history. Past, in the sense that God's plan has been seen over and over again in the Old Testament in the stories of Moses, Joshua, Joseph, David and others. In the present, many of us believers are in the 9th step of the plan persevering and working to bring fruit to the kingdom while we await Jesus return. In the future, we can see in Matthew chapters 10-28 a picture of the events of the end times including Jesus return; people coming to him; rejection by the Jews; the saving of the remnant; as well as his final ascension to heaven/resurrection (chapter 28). The events of the future have been told to us in patterns of the past. Even if you don't see all these things, this list of the chapter descriptions for Matthew should help you better understand the messages of the book.

I must warn you, although I do believe these to be correct, I don't consider myself a Biblical scholar, so if you have feedback that might correct what I have written, it is more than welcome.

A couple of notes about the book of Matthew:

• Matthew 1, the first chapter of the New Testament is the 930th chapter of the Bible. Interesting that it follows 39 books of the Old Testament (93/930 in reverse). This first chapter is written to let the Jews know first, that Jesus is the messiah they have been waiting for. Number 39 is a number for Israel and the 39 number symbolism seems to indicate that Israel never exited the wilderness wandering (#40) and is still looking for their messiah. #39 is also about #999 (3 nines) which lines up with the last days events where Jesus will restore Israel. 
• Regarding the 930th chapter - for number junkies - Psalm 117:1-2 are verses of compelling evidence that ties the NT and OT together by associating Malachi chapter 4 with Matthew chapter 1. Psalm 117 is the exact center Bible chapter, and is the only two verse chapter of the Bible. It does not seem coincidence that these two verses that split the Bible chapters half, are also the 1929 and 1930th verses of the book of Psalms. Correspondingly, Malachi 4 is the 929th and last chapter of the OT, and Matthew 1 is the 930 and first chapter of the NT. The only two verses in the center of Bible chapters that both declare "Praise the Lord!", seem to point to the joining of the Old and New Testaments. They join the coming of Jesus to the end of the the Old Testament.
• The list of generations in chapter one mentions three lists of 14 generations with fourteen being the key number. It is not actually a list of 42 (3x14) generations, but rather is three lists that intersect to show the genealogy of Jesus. Why fourteen? Because #14 is the number of Jesus the King and Redeemer and the number of Passover. The Bible's 14:14 verses show this with one of the best examples at Revelation 14:14 "Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was one like a son of man, having a golden crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand".
• Also supporting symbolism for #14, in the 14th chapter of Matthew we learn Jesus is the King and Redeemer. This can be seen beginning in verse 28 (2x14) where Peter says "If it is you, command me...".  In verses 29-33 Peter calls out to Jesus to be saved; Jesus saves him; and those in the boat exclaim "you are certainly God's Son!". After that we find the people, who now realize he is the messiah, desperately reaching out to Jesus for healing.
• Worth a second look - the 28th chapter of Matthew is about Jesus resurrection. #28 is an important resurrection number and this is a good chapter to help remember this number association.
• It is not coincidence the book of Matthew has 1071 verses as this number reflects the number meanings for #17/#71 and #27/#72. Seventeen is a number for both cleansing and saving. The flood is full of number 17 symbolism as the rain started on the 17th day and the ark rested on the 17th day. Jesus was also resurrected three days after passover (14) on the 17th day. The water of the flood, like the living water of Jesus, both washes us and cleanses the land. The number 27/72 are numbers of witnessing and both reflect a more core number of 77 (2 sevens) which relate to Jesus testifying about himself to be the only way to eternal life. One of the most interesting evidences relating #72 to witnessing is Ruth 4:9 which is the 7200th verse of the Bible; the 72nd verse of Ruth; in the Bible's 236th chapter (2x36=72); and with chapter and verse reference 4:9 where 4x9=36 which is 1/2 of 72. The text associated with all these numbers: Ruth 4:9 Then Boaz said to the elders and all the people, "You are witnesses today that I have bought from the hand of Naomi all that belonged to Elimelech and all that belonged to Chilion and Mahlon.". In this passage, Boaz is an image of Jesus. These are amazing evidences of the perfection of the Numeric Map.
• Also regarding #27, it is in the 27th chapter of Matthew where Jesus, the Lamb of God, gave his life in the crucifixion. The act of redemption is associated with #77/#27/#72. Another good #77 related evidence can be read about in the full chapter of Psalms 77 -- v15 says  "you have, by your power, redeemed your people".

Chapter descriptions for #1 through #28 in the 28 chapters of Matthew (1071 verses)

Matt 1 - God sent his son - evidence to the Jews Jesus is the waited for messiah - 14 generations mentioned 3 times
Matt 2 - The Redeemer comes - Jesus birth, as prophecy declared, God has come to live among men
Matt 3 - Holy Spirit/holiness - like the Holy Spirit, John the Baptist comes before Jesus to announce his arrival
Matt 4 - Wilderness trials/testing/cleansing - the 40 days of trials and temptation of Jesus by Satan.
Matt 5 - Covenents/Rules - the Beatitudes, Blessed are…levels of blessings granted to progress in the Christian walk?
Matt 6 - Sin/seeking forgiveness - pray from your heart in a secret place to your Lord who can save you
Matt 7 - Guidance/Discipline - Jesus teaches about the Kingdom. Do not judge, ask, seek and you will find
Matt 8 - The Godly Remnant -the step of becoming obedient servants and receiving the Holy Spirit. Also about the unfaithful.
Matt 9 - Persevering/Serving - obedient servants are to follow Jesus without question and persevere as workers in the harvest
Matt 10 - Final/last things - commissioning of the 12 disciples and rewards that will come
Matt 11 - Warnings - Jesus warnings to those who do not recognize him, says to take on his yoke and be rewarded with rest.
Matt 12 - Authority/Judgment - Jesus is judged by the rulers. Many call to him but he says those who do his will are his family.
Matt 13 - Man's way vs God's way - men are confused and cannot believe - want to do what they believe is right. Jesus did not do many miracles in their presence
Matt 14 - Jesus, King and Redeemer - Disciples and others realize Jesus is The Son of God, and reach out to him and to touch his cloak, and are healed.
Matt 15 - Instructions/teachings - Jesus said the people honor me with their lips but teach the doctrines of men. The disciples ask him to explain...
Matt 16 - The Godly who will enter the Kingdom - Peter declares Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Matt 17 - Living Water/bread of life/lifting up/casting down - The Transfiguration, Peter, James and John taken up to see Jesus in his glory

9,000th & 10,000th Bible verses point to two major events in Israel's history

In the 9000th Bible verse we see the event of Solomon's Temple being complete and the Spirit of God enters in a cloud -- In 1Kings chapter 8, the 299th chapter of the Bible, we find the 9000th Bible verse. The nine theme in these numbers is strongly found in the text helping us to better interpret the messages the chapter contains. There's two transitions of history found in this chapter and as I've written about in other places, the numbers 9, 99 and 999 are all transition numbers. Transition numbers mark the ending of one series of events, history or ends of things and precedes the beginnings of new ones.

In the 299th chapter of 1Kings 8 we find events consistent with the theme of chapter eight which are about the Godly, New Beginnings and the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This chapter tells us the Temple of God is now complete and the holy things including the Ark of the Covenant are being moved into it in front of a great assembly of people who were called to celebrate and witness this Holiest of events. Once the holy things are moved in and all is ready, verse 10 (a number of completeness) tells us 1Kin 8:10 "It happened that when the priests came from the holy place, the cloud filled the house of the LORD,". In this culminating event, and after generations of waiting for this moment, the temple is built and God's spirit has entered. Take special note that in this 8th chapter the spirit of the Lord enters the temple in the cloud just like the number eight is symbolic of God's Holy Spirit being sent to dwell in the those saved.

In the 9000th transitional verse we read 1Kings 8:14 "Then the king faced about and blessed all the assembly of Israel, while all the assembly of Israel was standing". We conclude this is a reference to Solomon who turns to the people to bless them, but the numbers of the Numeric Map suggest there is more to this story. This 9000th verse is also the 282nd verse of 1Kings and 28/82 are numbers related to the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. The 299th chapter suggests a relationship to the number 29 (99) related to the return of the Lord. Fourteen is a number for Jesus the King (Passover) and in this 14th verse we find "The King" turning to bless the people. The message seems strong that this is a foretelling of when one day Jesus will again enter the temple to dwell and rule from the Holy of Holies.

This being the 9000th verse ends the part of history leading up to the building of the temple and begins a new section of scripture from 9001 to the 10,000th verse. You should find it interesting that in this 10,000th verse at 2Kin 17:16 we learn God has lost his patience with Israel and has decided to send them into exile. It says "They forsook all the commandments of the LORD their God and made for themselves molten images, {even} two calves, and made an Asherah and worshiped all the host of heaven and served Baal". The number nine has a theme of the Godly serving and persevering until the Lord returns and this is the theme for the 9000 series of verses. During this time God's Holy Spirit is dwelling with/in his people. The number 10 speaks of the completion of things where the righteous will be saved and those that have turned from God destroyed. In both the 9,000th and 10,000th Bible verses the Numeric Map clearly points out to us two major events and turning points in Israel's history.
