Halloween - October 31st (10/31) occurs on God's date for days of darkness

Eph 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Halloween is a celebration of Evil that occurs each October 31st and is clearly the single day each year that Satan and his forces are glorified by many. I don't think many would argue if this is called the darkest day of the year. Do you wonder if there are any references in the Bible to this day of darkness?

I believe there are strong indications in the Bible of this day of darkness. These are just patterns I see in the Bible's numbers and text and every person has to decide what they think - so I'll provide evidences and let you decide what they might mean. I think Halloween and October 31st and the numbers 10/31 are found in the scriptures in multiple places.

You might begin by thinking about the darkest event and day associated with Christianity in the Bible - There is little doubt that Jesus crucifixion was the day death ruled Jesus was dead and buried. If Halloween and 10/31 were a number of a dark day then we should find it associated with this historical event....it is. In two places we find 1031 associated with Jesus forsaken...

• The 1031st verse of the Book of Matthew - Matt 27:46 About the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "ELI, ELI, LAMA SABACHTHANI?" that is, "MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?"
• In The 1031st verse of Luke, Peter denied knowing Jesus three times Luke 22:60 But Peter said, "Man, I do not know what you are talking about." Immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.

Your first reaction to this 1031 verse number association with these dark events is probably to dismiss them as an interesting coincidence....REALLY? Do you think it just so happens that these key Bible verses about Jesus being forsaken by God and the disciples are related to 10/31? There are a couple of more compelling associations with these days of evil triumphing related to October 31st.

Everyone should agree that Halloween is related to evil spirits of many forms. The Bible's number 13 and 31 are often related to spiritual things - both the Holy Spirit as well as the forces of Satan. Here's two examples of chapters associated with spiritual things...

Acts 13, the Bibles 1031st chapter...(10/31)


The Bible's 1031st chapter is full of references to both evil spirits and the Holy Spirit and both 13 and 31 are numbers found related to topics of the spirit. The entire chapter is devoted to both evil spirits and God's Holy Spirit. You can see this in Acts 13:10 (10/31) ..

"You who are full of all deceit and fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness.."

The chapter begins and ends with statements about being filled with the Holy Spirit, and the context of the entire chapter is about spiritual things. Here are some of the spirit related events found in the 1031st chapter:

• Filled with the Holy Spirit (13:2)
• Sent by the Holy Spirit (13:4)
• The Holy Spirit through Paul turned against Elymas the magician (13:10--10/31?)
• David was declared by God to be a "MAN AFTER MY OWN HEART" (spirit) (13:22)
• God promised "I WILL GIVE YOU THE HOLY SPIRIT" (13:34)
• God would not allow the holy one to "DECAY" (4 times - 13:34,35,36,37)
• Concluding verse of the chapter Acts 13:52 the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit

So this 1031st chapter related to both evil and Holy Spirit mentions fits with the 1031st verses of Matthew and Luke. One more example...

The Bibles 1103rd chapter...
As I was researching evil spirit/darkness verses, I could not go without mentioning Ephesians 6:12...

I was very surprised when I noticed that this chapter is the 1103rd chapter of the Bible - notice it contains the same digits as 1031? (1,1,0 3 vs 1,0,3,1). Patterns in Biblical numerics show the digits of a number have more significance than their order. It is unlikely this number association is coincidence. Especially since 6:12 is related to 666 (6 & 6+6), the number of the beast.

Conclusion...
I've quickly put together these 1031 number associations and their relationship to Halloween as I've just observed them in the last couple of days -- and since today is Halloween, I felt it important to get it out quickly. Forgive any editing errors or lack of detail included. I hope you can see, as I do, that Halloween happening on October 31st or 10/31 seems no coincidence to God. It happens on God's numbers associated with days of darkness.

9,000th & 10,000th Bible verses point to two major events in Israel's history

In the 9000th Bible verse we see the event of Solomon's Temple being complete and the Spirit of God enters in a cloud -- In 1Kings chapter 8, the 299th chapter of the Bible, we find the 9000th Bible verse. The nine theme in these numbers is strongly found in the text helping us to better interpret the messages the chapter contains. There's two transitions of history found in this chapter and as I've written about in other places, the numbers 9, 99 and 999 are all transition numbers. Transition numbers mark the ending of one series of events, history or ends of things and precedes the beginnings of new ones.

In the 299th chapter of 1Kings 8 we find events consistent with the theme of chapter eight which are about the Godly, New Beginnings and the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This chapter tells us the Temple of God is now complete and the holy things including the Ark of the Covenant are being moved into it in front of a great assembly of people who were called to celebrate and witness this Holiest of events. Once the holy things are moved in and all is ready, verse 10 (a number of completeness) tells us 1Kin 8:10 "It happened that when the priests came from the holy place, the cloud filled the house of the LORD,". In this culminating event, and after generations of waiting for this moment, the temple is built and God's spirit has entered. Take special note that in this 8th chapter the spirit of the Lord enters the temple in the cloud just like the number eight is symbolic of God's Holy Spirit being sent to dwell in the those saved.

In the 9000th transitional verse we read 1Kings 8:14 "Then the king faced about and blessed all the assembly of Israel, while all the assembly of Israel was standing". We conclude this is a reference to Solomon who turns to the people to bless them, but the numbers of the Numeric Map suggest there is more to this story. This 9000th verse is also the 282nd verse of 1Kings and 28/82 are numbers related to the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. The 299th chapter suggests a relationship to the number 29 (99) related to the return of the Lord. Fourteen is a number for Jesus the King (Passover) and in this 14th verse we find "The King" turning to bless the people. The message seems strong that this is a foretelling of when one day Jesus will again enter the temple to dwell and rule from the Holy of Holies.

This being the 9000th verse ends the part of history leading up to the building of the temple and begins a new section of scripture from 9001 to the 10,000th verse. You should find it interesting that in this 10,000th verse at 2Kin 17:16 we learn God has lost his patience with Israel and has decided to send them into exile. It says "They forsook all the commandments of the LORD their God and made for themselves molten images, {even} two calves, and made an Asherah and worshiped all the host of heaven and served Baal". The number nine has a theme of the Godly serving and persevering until the Lord returns and this is the theme for the 9000 series of verses. During this time God's Holy Spirit is dwelling with/in his people. The number 10 speaks of the completion of things where the righteous will be saved and those that have turned from God destroyed. In both the 9,000th and 10,000th Bible verses the Numeric Map clearly points out to us two major events and turning points in Israel's history.

Matthew Chapter 6 - Seeking God from our hearts

A theme of Matthew chapter 6 is that we can only receive God's rewards by seeking God and his approval from the secret place in our heart. "Practicing our righteousness" for men to see will not result in the reward we truly need which is to receive the incredible gift Jesus gave as his life for us as payment for sin.

The chapter keeps reminding us those who seek approval and the notice of men will not be rewarded--IE given eternal life but will only receive the rewards men can give. Joshua the 6th book of the Bible is about crossing over the Jordan into the new land and six is symbolic of our finally deciding to accept God's plan of redemption, cross over the "River of Life--Jesus" to the new land. God goes ahead of us but we must make the decision and take the action to cross which involves turning from sin thus making sacrifices and going and fighting battles to remove strongholds of sin in our life. Then we can enter step seven of God's Redemption Plan in which God promises to shepherd us to becoming complete.

Matt 6:6 "But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. (NASB)

The Bible tells us we are judged by what the Holy Spirit reveals about our heart condition. Verse 6:6 uses the word "Secret" which might better be said as "inwardly" or from the heart. The reference to our inner rooms seems a reference such as go to our heart and soul and talk to god from there. The phrase "WHO IS IN SECRET" seems a reference to the Holy Spirit which is there dwelling in us and this presence of God in us will see our actions and thus will reward us (The HS is the part of God in us that speaks/reports to God on our behalf).

WILL REWARD YOU: Strong's defines the word used for reward as to Give something of one’s self to another or to pay off a debt or things promised under oath. Thus, this fits the chapter theme which is about seeking God alone for our reward which as he promised is the eternal life he gives to us as a gift paying off our debt for sin.

Of course, this does not mean not to do good things people can see, but that our reward can only come from an internal heartfelt relationship with God.

The closing verse tells us we need not worry about tomorrow if we do these things, but take care of today which is having a relationship with God. Once we have done that God considers us his children and as a faithful parent will lead us to becoming complete. Thus, no need to worry about tomorrow (IE Eternal Life) if we have taken care of these things today.
