I just noticed this amazing feature of the Torah this evening - December 27, 2012 and still want to do more research on this...but it seems worth sharing with those interested in such things.
The Torah is the five books of Moses or the Old Testament of the King James and similar Bibles. The books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy contain 5852 total verses so dividing that in half tells us that Leviticus 8:8-9 (2926th and 2927th verses of the King James Bible) are the exact center verses of the Torah books.
I've said before, I don't consider myself a Bible scholar, so what I write about are just simply my observances and opinions of patterns I study in the Bible so each person should confirm what I write here for themselves (Acts 17:11). As I remember, Bible scholars debate as to weather Leviticus 8:8 references to the Urim and Thummin are references to God's Holy Spirit -- For the evidences I note below, I do believe they do. Assuming this is true, it is absolutely amazing that the exact two middle verses of the Torah point to what i think of as Jesus in our midst - The Spirit of God.
This evidence of the major numerical, DNA like, numbering of the Torah is also evidence for the possibility that the entire Bible is divinely numbered. This is similar to the apparently divinely appointed position of Psalm 117 which is the exact middle chapter of the Bible (595th of 1189 chapters). It has only two verses which also point to "The LORD" as the center of the KJV scriptures. I believe the reference of "The LORD" is a reference to Jesus Christ. It is an extremely unlikely coincidence this shortest and only two verse chapter of the Bible just happens to find itself as the center chapter and have text that seems to tells us the entire Bible (1st and 2nd half) are about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Following are the only two verses in Psalm 117.
Praise God!

Numerical Evidence for the Spiritual Nature of the Bible's 8:8 Verses
Following are a selection of the Bible's verses that have a chapter and verse reference of 8:8. Consider how they in one form or another seem to point to the spiritual nature of the Holy Spirit:
The middle two verses of the Torah
Lev 8:8 He then placed the breastpiece on him, and in the breastpiece he put the Urim and the Thummim.
Lev 8:9 He also placed the turban on his head, and on the turban, at its front, he placed the golden plate, the holy crown, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

Psa 117:1 Praise the LORD, all nations; Laud Him, all peoples! The middle of the Torah points to God's Holy Spirit and the middle chapter of the KJV points to the LORD Jesus -- this is incredible confirmation the Bible is the precise, preserved, Word of God. For added support these are not coincidence, check out the exact middle verses of the KJV which are Psalm 103:1-2 which both proclaim "Bless the LORD, O my soul". God's Word is simply amazing beyond comprehension. Consider its perfection is beyond any possible human design and that the mathematically confirm-able DNA like numbering is strong evidence of the Bible's divine author being God himself.
Psa 117:2 For His lovingkindness is great toward us, And the truth of the LORD is everlasting. Praise the LORD!
Praise God!
