29 January 2016 - Symbolism for #29 - Many #29 verses suggest a reference to the future return of Jesus Christ

The phrase "little while occurs 29 times in the Bible and this, along with other related twenty-nine number evidences, suggests number twenty-nine has something to do with the future return of Jesus Christ...
This post shows how #29 related verses in the Bible point us to symbolism related to this number. I know, virtually everyone has been taught the Bible's chapter and verse numbers are not part of the original text, but the evidence for the Bible's numbers being divinely inspired is virtually indisputable. See other posts in this blog or my website for a a full explanation.

The Bible's Number 29 -- An incredible number of the soon coming of Jesus to redeem the Godly
One of the most amazing number 29 related verses in the Bible is John 1:29 which says "The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and *said, "Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!". More evidence of the preciseness of the Bible's Numeric Map is that John 1:29 is the 2,929th verse of the New Testament.

Twenty-nine is related to many 999 type numbers. Ninety-nine is a way of expressing the last things done before the end of things. Other related numbers are 92, 99, 999 and even 911 (92). The 29th chapter of the New Testament is Mark chapter 1 which seems a summary overview of the events of Jesus return.
The phrase "in a little while" is in 29 verses - the return of the Lord
My number research revealed for a long time that number 29 seemed related to the coming return of the Lord and then much later I noticed the phrase "little while" occurs in 29 Bible verses. My experience says this is not coincidence - the verse text also demonstrates strong references to the coming of the Lord down to earth. It appears this phrase speaks of times related to both his first and second coming. I suspect, if we could understand the message, it could be a clue to when the Lord will actually return.
The Phrase "little while" used in reference to Jesus time in his first coming
Notice how the following verses using the term "little while" seem to speak of the time Jesus was on earth. I wonder if it related to the number of years Jesus was among us which is said by many to be around 30?
  • John 7:33 ...Jesus said, "For a little while longer I am with you, then I go to Him who sent Me.
  • John 16:16 "A little while, and you will no longer see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me."
  • John 16:18 So they were saying, "What is this that He says, 'A little while'? We do not know what He is talking about."
  • John 14:19 "After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.
  • John 13:33 "Little children, I am with you a little while longer. You will seek Me; and as I said to the Jews, now I also say to you, 'Where I am going, you cannot come.'
  • Heb 2:9 But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.
  • Mrk 14:70 But again he denied it. And after a little while the bystanders were again saying to Peter, "Surely you are one of them, for you are a Galilean too."
  • John 12:35 So Jesus said to them, "For a little while longer the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes.
  • John 16:17 Some of His disciples then said to one another, "What is this thing He is telling us, 'A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me'; and, 'because I go to the Father'?"
  • John 16:19 Jesus knew that they wished to question Him, and He said to them, "Are you deliberating together about this, that I said, 'A little while, and you will not see Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me'?
  • Heb 2:7 "YOU HAVE MADE HIM FOR A LITTLE WHILE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS; YOU HAVE CROWNED HIM WITH GLORY AND HONOR, AND HAVE APPOINTED HIM OVER THE WORKS OF YOUR HANDS;
The Phrase "little while" used in reference to when he will return
The following verses that include the phrase "little while" seem to speak of the time until the Lord's return or about what will happen upon his return.
  • Isa 26:20 Come, my people, enter into your rooms And close your doors behind you; Hide for a little while Until indignation runs its course.
  • Jer 51:33 ... Yet in a little while the time of harvest will come for her."
  • Hag 2:6 "... 'Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth...
  • Heb 10:37 ...IN A VERY LITTLE WHILE, HE WHO IS COMING WILL COME...
  • Isa 10:25 "For in a very little while My indignation against you will be spent..."
  • 1Pet 5:10 After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.
  • Rev 6:11 And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.
  • Rev 17:10 and they are seven kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while.
  • Psa 37:10 Yet a little while and the wicked man will be no more; And you will look carefully for his place and he will not be there.
  • Jam 4:14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.
  • 1Pet 1:6 In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials,
  • Isa 29:17 Is it not yet just a little while Before Lebanon will be turned into a fertile field, And the fertile field will be considered as a forest?
  • 1Kin 18:45 In a little while the sky grew black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy shower. And Ahab rode and went to Jezreel.
  • Isa 63:18 Your holy people possessed Your sanctuary for a little while, Our adversaries have trodden it down.
  • Eze 11:16 "Therefore say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Though I had removed them far away among the nations and though I had scattered them among the countries, yet I was a sanctuary for them a little while in the countries where they had gone.'"
These verses that use the term "little while" seem to both confirm Jesus claim that he will return and give us some indication that when he does, it will be a time of "indignation".

Notes on 29

  • Number 29 is the 10th prime number (assuming 1 is prime which biblical numbers suggest)
There's much evidence supporting the association of #29 with the theme of Jesus return. Click the following link to a secondary page of evidences for the Bible's #29. (supplemental evidence for #29).

What are The Bible's Redemption Pattern and Numeric Map about?

On Amazon -- The Redemption Pattern and Numeric Map

Description

Most everyone has heard random comments from sermons about the symbolism behind numbers in the Bible, but the explanations given are so brief that they have little practical use in our own personal Bible study. As a result, Christians read the Bible without being able to put one of the best tools of interpretation to use in their study. This book explains not only the symbolism of Biblical numbers but more importantly describes the progressive meaning behind each number and how they relate to what the author refers to as the Bible's Redemption Pattern. Numbers not only have a consistent symbolism everywhere they are used in scripture, but each number helps describe the ten basic steps of a Christian's path of walking with God in their lives.

Similarly to "The Four Spiritual Laws" of Campus Crusade, the Redemption Pattern explains in detail the ten steps of; One-Knowing God; Two-The Appointed Redeemer who came for us; Three-God's Holiness and Righteousness; Four-Our trials and journey through the wilderness life; Five-What God demands of us and resulting blessings and consequences; Six-Our decision to cross over and turn from sin in our life; Seven-God as the Good Shepherd who uses the rod and the staff to teach us his ways to lead us to being complete;; Eight-How we become faithful believers by finally being convinced to give up our own ways to sincerely try to let God lead our lives; Nine-Our responsibility to anxiously anticipate Jesus return and faithfully serve while we await this event; and Ten-The number of final things including God's final disposition at the end of the age.

This book explains the symbolism of numbers; how to understand the Redemption Pattern steps; and most importantly, how we find this Redemption Pattern used throughout the Bible thus it being a constant reminder in scripture of God's plan for our lives. This pattern can be seen repeatedly in virtually every list of the Bible including; the Lord's Prayer; The names of ten generations from Adam to Noah; the Beatitudes; The Plagues of the Bible; feast days and more.

There's many other gems of knowledge throughout the book; explaining the numbers 72, 144, 153, 666, 777, & 1260; how 911 can be seen in scripture; the special numerical significance of John chapter 3; how numbers combine to make meaning and much more.

From the Author

Once you see all the examples of how numbers are used in whatever Bible you use today, you will quickly begin to make use of them in your everyday Bible study. These principals apply to both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible so this means they also will be observed and equally useful in the study of the Torah and other religious documents.

About the Author

Norm Patriquin is an everyday layman believer who over a ten year period accidentally stumbled over the Redemption Pattern and what he calls the Numeric Map of the Bible. He works today to pass on this knowledge to others showing how Biblical numbers are not a complex code or mathematical puzzle, but instead can be quickly comprehended as a very simple guide to helping us understand God's plan for our lives.

The recent terrorist attack in Libya is more evidence 911 is God's warning number to nations that turn from him

The recent planned terrorist attack on the Libyan embassy on September 11th seem yet another evidence that the September 11th date in history is related to Biblical number patterns associating the numbers 9-1-1 with calamity to nations that turn from God. The Bible’s gematria number patterns help us understand how such associations can exist. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gematria

Following are two Bible verses that help reveal this possibility. As unimaginable as it sounds that such a biblical pattern exists, it's very difficult to dismiss the KJV's (NIV, NASB, ESV..) Bible's many examples of 911 to this theme as coincidence. The specific nature of this message in Biblical references to 9-1-1 are beyond any possibility of them all happening by chance.

Look closely and you will notice that 911 in the Bible is not just related to calamity, but is always related to calamity "to nations" or "peoples" turning from God. It is impossible to dismiss so many specific references as a product of chance.

Two examples of 911 associations in Bible verse numbering…

The Diaspora... (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_diaspora) Before their exile Israel was told why this calamity happened to them...
Dan 9:11 "Indeed all Israel has transgressed Your law and turned aside, not obeying Your voice; so the curse has been poured out on us, along with the oath which is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, for we have sinned against Him.
Tower of Babel...(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tower_of_Babel) In Genesis chapter eleven, the people had turned to other God's and were building a tower to reach heaven and that was the last rebelling act of Babel before God called calamity down on them...
Gen 11:9 Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of the whole earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of the whole earth.
It has been preached by many Bible believers that the USA is turning from God and is suffering the consequences today. This is not news to those who study God's Word, but scholars have never noticed that biblical references to God's wrath are actually associated with the digits 9, 1 and 1.

(following is a blog post I created back in July 2011)

The Sobering Number 911

If you're reading this you're probably well familiar with the term "911" as it relates to the September 11, 2001 attack on the”World” Trade Center towers in New York City. Since that infamous day, people have referred to this great calamity as simply "911". It seemed a natural label to put on this event since we also know of the number "911" being used as our common telephone number to call in emergency situations. Without any thought we would all assume that this "911" designation originated from the makers of art telephone systems, but, incredibly, the Bible shows us "911" is more likely a God defined number symbolic of the Lord's return to protect his people as well as the Lord's judgment on nations who have turned away from him. I know this sounds a far-fetched and ridiculous conclusion, but if you read on, I think the evidence found in the Bible's numbers speaks for itself.

The Tower of Babel and 911…
The Tower of Babel is about when men began to build a structure that would reach the heavens. When God saw this he decided to disperse this nation that had decided they would find a way to heaven without God - that is, their nation had turned away from God. He dispersed them by Confusing them with different languages and scattering them across the Earth. As we see in many "911" related verses, God brings calamity on nations who turn away from him.
What does the number 911 mean? Biblical Evidence 911 is a God Number Associated with Calamity or a curse to Nations
There are many different ways the Bible's numbering always point to a consistent symbolism of text associated with all the numbers. At first glance, some of these examples may appear to be contrived or coincidental comparisons of various Bible numbering to the text, But as we study more and more examples, the possibility of coincidence gets very difficult to imagine. Don't try to fit every one of these examples exactly to the 911 theme as you imagine it, but consider all the evidences together when you consider the possibility.

As you begin to take in the thought about what God might be doing with number symbolism, both in the Bible and in our world, it will change your image of the power of God. God does everything by pattern so those looking for evidence of God have no problem seeing proof of his existence....
Rom 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse

911th Bible chapterHaggai chapter 2 is the wrath of the Lord on Israel because they had turned away from God and did not come back --
Hag 2:6 "For thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. Hag 2:7 'I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,' says the LORD of hosts.

Jeremiah chapter 9 is about God's judgment on the nation of Judah --
Jer 9:11 "I will make Jerusalem a heap of ruins, A haunt of jackals; And I will make the cities of Judah a desolation, without inhabitant."

In Jeremiah chapter 6 which is the Bible's 19111st verse, the Lord says he will destroy Jerusalem because of their sins--
Jer 6:21 Therefore, thus says the LORD, "Behold, I am laying stumbling blocks before this people. And they will stumble against them, Fathers and sons together; Neighbor and friend will perish."

Gen 11:9 Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of the whole earth; and from there the LORD scattered them abroad over the face of the whole earth.

2Chronicles 33: is the 11911th verse that speaks of evil done in the sight of the Lord - and the abomination of nations. Note this one of a kind cross Bible verse number of 11911 – a perfect 911 verse numbering with a very specific reference to sin of nations --
2Chr 33:2 He did evil in the sight of the LORD according to the abominations of the nations whom the LORD dispossessed before the sons of Israel.

Jeremiah 3:8, the 19011th verse tells how Israel was sent away for their adulteries - another reference to an abomination of a nation --
Jer 3:8 "And I saw that for all the adulteries of faithless Israel, I had sent her away and given her a writ of divorce, yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear; but she went and was a harlot also.

Jeremiah 19:3 is the 19411th verse tells the Lord is about to bring a calamity upon Jerusalem --
'Hear the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, "Behold I am about to bring a calamity upon this place, at which the ears of everyone that hears of it will tingle.

Jeremiah 19:11 which is lso the 19419th verse, the Lord says he will break this people and this city like one would break a potter's vessel -
Jer 19:11 and say to them, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Just so will I break this people and this city, even as one breaks a potter's vessel, which cannot again be repaired; and they will bury in Topheth because there is no other place for burial.

Revelation 11:9 speaks of the battle of Armageddon where the people of tribes and nations will lay dead for 3 1/2 days --
Rev 11:9 Those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.

The 9110th and 9111st Bible verses - the condemnation of Solomon which brought judgment on Israel for their hearts being turned away from God --
1Kin 11:1 Now King Solomon loved many foreign women along with the daughter of Pharaoh: Moabite, Ammonite, Edomite, Sidonian, and Hittite women, 1Kin 11:2 from the nations concerning which the LORD had said to the sons of Israel, "You shall not associate with them, nor shall they associate with you, for they will surely turn your heart away after their gods." Solomon held fast to these in love.

Daniel 9:11 condemns Israel for transgressing God's law and turning away from him. Daniel chapter 9 is one of the great prophecy chapters of the Bible.
Dan 9:11 "Indeed all Israel has transgressed Your law and turned aside, not obeying Your voice; so the curse has been poured out on us, along with the oath which is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, for we have sinned against Him.

Hosea 9:11 tells of the condemnation of Ephraim --
Hos 9:11 As for Ephraim, their glory will fly away like a bird-- No birth, no pregnancy and no conception!

Genesis 9:11 speaks of the condemnation of man and God's judgment of the great flood --
Gen 9:11 "I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be cut off by the water of the flood, neither shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth."

1Chronicles 19:11 is also the 10919th Bible verse (also the 666th verse) tells of God's judgment to the Ammonite who are symbolic of great sin --
1Chr 19:11 But the remainder of the people he placed in the hand of Abshai his brother; and they arrayed themselves against the sons of Ammon.

Revelation 9:11 speaks of the people who have ever them the king of the abyss --
Rev 9:11 They have as king over them, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon.

Similarly to the great flood Exodus 14:21, which is the 1911th Bible verse, tells how the Lord protected his people by dividing the waters and turning them into dry land --
Exo 14:21 Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD swept the sea back by a strong east wind all night and turned the sea into dry land, so the waters were divided.

Also similar to the great flood and to Exodus 14:21 which spoke of the waters being divided, Nehemiah 9:11 also speaks of the great flood. It does not appear coincidence that this 9:11 verse is directly related the numeric reference to Exodus 14:21, the1911th Bible verse --
Neh 9:11 "You divided the sea before them, So they passed through the midst of the sea on dry ground; And their pursuers You hurled into the depths, Like a stone into raging waters.

Exodus 19:11 speaks of the Lord coming down before all the people. Of course he is coming both to save his people and to judge the unfaithful --
Exo 19:11 and let them be ready for the third day, for on the third day the LORD will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.

Hebrews 9:11 also speaks of Jesus, the High Priest, return to Earth --
Heb 9:11 But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation;

911 - Predicted and defined in the Bible - a God defined number for calamity...

The Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:9) appears a parallel event in history to the 9/11/2001 World Trade Center attacks... It is interesting the verse number of the key verse to this event is Genesis 11:9 which in numeric gematria has a like symbolism to 911..

The amazing number 911
