11-11-2011 in the Bible - not at all sure if this means anything

I was reading some Tweets on the hashtag of #prophecy this evening where some guy was sharing how he believed some big event will happen on 11-11 this year (11/11/2011). I'm interested in reading about these theories, but am not linking to it here because it would just be another date setting thing which I don't do.  I do often look up various numbers I run across in my research because I've seen so many Bible numbers seemingly corresponding to history (I.E. A curious example is Deu 15:17 which seems to relate to Martin Luther posting the 95 thesis on the Church Door which happened in 1517.). Anyway, I decided to look up the Bible's verses that are chapter 11, verse 11.

I'm not claiming anything about what the 11:11 verses might say, but had a foreign thought come through my mind as I was searching for them..."what if they tell a story?". I've been doing deep Bible study for more than 10 years and have not had this thought come in my head more than twice in all that time. Since the thought came upon me rather strangely, I decided to read the verses as if they told a story - I'm not saying they do, but it seems to me the way they read could make logical sense in story form so I thought I would pass them on. (I never know if God could be prompting me, so I thought I'd share them just in case that's what I'm supposed to be doing).

(I hope I've put enough disclaimers in this...I really don't know if it means anything at all.)

So here's the total of 31 11:11 verses in the Bible (KJV, NIV, NASB...). There's two ways to read them. Individually, I've always found a common thread of a theme running through like numbered verses. You can't always see it in every verse, but the common theme is most always evident. I've not even studied these enough to say what it might be right now - something you might look for.
If you are curious like I was, you might also read them to see if they tell a story. If they did, my guess it would be an overview of the world's history from beginning until Jesus return. I see some of those possible elements here -  It's worth mentioning that the pattern I always observe in Bible patterns and numbers tells of progressive events in history that start to end when Jesus comes back for the Godly, and then even later returns to take his chosen people to his kingdom. Then judgment comes.

So here's the Bible's 31 (11:11) verses. By the way, the 11th occurence of them is 1Chronicles 11:11 - the Bible's DNA like patterns are so precise, I imagine this has special meaning as well (11-11-11?). The number of these verses (31) is likely also significant and I've often thought of #31 as representing some end of time like events. One major evidence I see for this is the 31,102 verses I find in the Bible. Every 1000th verse represents a significant turning of events so having 31, 1000th Bible verses is interesting to me. But that's something mentioned in another post.

If you see anything that suggests these verses do tell a story, let me know because I currently don't know if there's something to this or not.

Bible's verses point to historic event of Israel approved to become a nation

On November 29, 1947 (11/29/47), in an historic event, the UN voted to create the nation of Israel. On this date, Israel was approved to become a nation – an event that was prophesied by God, more than 2000 years before, to one day occur. The people of Israel would not actually declare their independence until the next year on May 14, 1948 and did not finally take over Jerusalem until June 7, 1967 at the end of the 6 day war – 6 days they fought and the 7th day they rested (67) – occurred on 6/7/1967 (written about in other blog posts).

The number 29 in the Bible is very consistently related to the symbolism of the return of the Lord when he comes to free his people. As impossible as it sounds, the Bible’s DNA like perfection in numbering reveals that chapter and verse numbers of the Bible can be taken together to have a direct correspondence to messages contained in the text. I often look for common patterns in like referenced verses to understand a number’s symbolism. Since I have found many historic dates that seem to have numbers that associate to those same numbers in Biblical symbolism, I recently decided to look at the Bible’s nineteen verses that have chapter and verse 11:29 to see if their theme somehow relates to the 11/29/1947 date when Israel took their first step to become a nation. The evidence of these verses being symbolically related to this historic event seems compelling and this article will hopefully demonstrate this possibility. On November 29th, it appears God was clearing the way for Israel to become a nation, and in the Bible’s 11:29 verses we see many instances where the Lord seems to be, in various ways, calling and delivering his people.

Although the pattern is not obvious in every 11:29 verse, there is a preponderance of evidence in the text that speaks specifically of the Lord calling out and leading his people to the Promised Land. The Bible’s DNA like pattern is so precise that it seems clear these verses are not just about people being delivered, but about the process of delivering them – a pattern that is pretty difficult to dismiss as coincidental.

Below is  a list of the most compelling examples of these 19 verses having a reference of chapter 11, verse 29. Using the examples, you can confirm the pattern for yourself or evaluate them to discern if you see any sort of a pattern in them. Of course, most people’s first reaction is that such supposed similarities are likely a result of coincidence - that might be a good explanation except that you can examine like referenced verses throughout  the Bible, and for any verse chapter/verse combination, observe a common theme running in them. One such similar pattern that has been noticed and mentioned by many scholars (yet dismissed as coincidence) is the “God so loved the world” like message found in many of the Bible’s 3:16 verses (John 3:16, 2 Cor 3:16, 1John 3:16, Exodus 3:16, Ruth 3:16, 1Samuel 3:16, Joel 3:16…). This is a wondrous pattern you can examine for yourself in your own Bible.

While you are looking at the following list of 11:29 verses (or others you can find in your own Bible), be aware that numbers have both a positive and negative/opposite symbolism, so you will find some 11:29 related text that seems to refer to themes that represent the opposite meaning of being delivered. You might need to read through the list multiple times before the pattern starts to become clear to you. Be discerning, yet open-mined to the mysteries of God, as you examine the evidence.

Jer 32:27 "Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?"

Examples of the Bible’s 11:29 verses showing a pattern of God in the process of delivering his people:

Deu 11:29 "It shall come about, when the LORD your God brings you into the land where you are entering to possess it… (The Lord leading the people out of bondage...to save them)

Judg 11:29 Now the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jephthah, so that he passed through Gilead and Manasseh…(very similar in nature to the Deu 11:29 passage)

Dan 11:29 "At the appointed time he will return and come into the South, … (the appointed deliverer will come for you)

Matt 11:29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. (The Lord calling his people)

Mrk 11:29 Jesus said.."I will ask you one question…then I will tell you by what authority I do these things. (Jesus has came into Jerusalem, cleared the temple, condemned religious leaders and more – demonstrating how he was delivering his people).

Luke 11:29 …"This generation is a wicked generation; it seeks for a sign…no sign will be given to it but the sign of Jonahd. (the sign to be given is that he will restore life as he did with Jonah)

John 11:29 when she heard it, she got up quickly and was coming to Him. (Jesus had returned and was calling for Mary – later in this 1008th Bible chapter about being restored (18=9+9 or 2x9), Lazarus was restored to life.)

Act 11:29 in the proportion that any of them had means, each of them determined to send a contribution for the relief of the brethren… (a restoring contribution was “determined”, not yet sent)

Rom 11:29 for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. (again, about God calling those he is, or will, restore)

Heb 11:29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as though they were passing through dry land… (The Lord delivering his people - again, like the Deu 11:29 example)

Above are the most compelling ten of a total of the 19 Bible verses with chapter and verse of 11:29. Others not shown here reveal a similar pattern.  These examples are not intended as proof of the common theme running through 11:29 verses, but are intended to get you wondering if God could have designed such mysteries into his word? No one set of examples will convince you, but the more examples you observe, the more you will be convinced the patterns cannot be the result of anything but the design of a supernatural and divine and loving God.

Earthquake & Tsunami in Japan - 9.0 magnitude quake on 3-11-2011

Written on 3/11/2011 (#311), the day of the great 9.0 Japan earthquake

I would not call myself a Bible expert and certainly would not claim to know much about prophecy, but I seem to be able to observe patterns in the Bible's numbers and text and the evidence seems to confirm God has left much evidence about him in both the numbering and text. I'm leaving here some of what I observe about earthquake, and earthquake related numbers in scripture. This is evidence for you to judge for yourself - see if God has something he wants to tell you from his word.
  • The word earthquake occurs 19 times in the Bible. Different translations report different number of occurrences, but I find the KJV seems more consistent in number/word patterns, so I trust #19 is probably alikely association with the word earthquake.
  • #19 seems about our sin and that we are to abstain from it - To be as consistent as I can in interpreting number meanings, one of the first places I look in the Bible when I study number meanings is the nn000th and nn000th+1 verses (I've written elsewhere about the 1000 verse sections of the Bible). In this case, the 19000th-19001th verse. The 19,001th verse is the first verse in this 1000 verse section of the Bible and it fits what I've seen elsewhere for the symbolism of #19. Here's the verse: 19,001st Bible verse - Jer 2:35 Yet you said, 'I am innocent; Surely His anger is turned away from me.' Behold, I will enter into judgment with you Because you say, 'I have not sinned.'

Another example of a #19 related verse (check out several 19:19 verses and you will see the pattern) - Deu 19:19 then you shall do to him just as he had intended to do to his brother. Thus you shall purge the evil from among you.
  • #19 seems often about warnings for us to turn from sin. It is no accident #911 is closely related to #19. Here's the 11,911th Bible verse - 2Chr 33:2 He did evil in the sight of the LORD according to the abominations of the nations whom the LORD dispossessed before the sons of Israel. Look at other 9:11 verses to see this pattern - one of the most well known is Daniel 9:11.
  • #911 seems about judgments for nations or countries turning from God and is not as often seen about individual sin.
  • #19 and earthquake - The first occurrence of the word "earthquake" in the Bible is found at 1Kings 19:11 - interesting we find #911 in this reference. The first references to things in the Bible are important because they often guide us in understanding them, so this would seem to be a good verse to examine to understanding earthquakes in the Bible - 1Kin 19:11 So He said, "Go forth and stand on the mountain before the LORD." And behold, the LORD was passing by! And a great and strong wind was rending the mountains and breaking in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake.
  • #19 warning and instruction from God - in 1Kings chapter 19 the Lord comes to Elijah and gives him warning and tells him what to do - go read it and then consider the entire chapter a sort of guide to understanding #19, earthquakes and God.
These, along with many other examples, tell me that God uses earthquakes to warn us and to tell us only the Lord is God. Following are a full list of the Bible's verses containing the word "earthquake". Examine the 19 occurrences of this word in the 16 verses and see what God's Word tells you about this subject.
NOTE: Don't try to make the pattern fit everywhere - like all studies we do of scripture, we never sort it all out. Instead, look for a general pattern across all the verses.
1Kin 19:11 So He said, "Go forth and stand on the mountain before the LORD." And behold, the LORD was passing by! And a great and strong wind was rending the mountains and breaking in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake.

1Kin 19:12 After the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a sound of a gentle blowing.

Isa 29:6 From the LORD of hosts you will be punished with thunder and earthquake and loud noise, With whirlwind and tempest and the flame of a consuming fire.

Amo 1:1 The words of Amos, who was among the sheepherders from Tekoa, which he envisioned in visions concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

Zech 14:5 You will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him!

Matt 24:7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes.

Matt 27:54 Now the centurion, and those who were with him keeping guard over Jesus, when they saw the earthquake and the things that were happening, became very frightened and said, "Truly this was the Son of God!"

Matt 28:2 And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it.

Mrk 13:8 "For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

Luke 21:11 (#311 as in 3/11/2011?) and there will be great earthquakes, and in various places plagues and famines; and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.

Act 16:26 and suddenly there came a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison house were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were unfastened.

Rev 6:12 I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood;

Rev 8:5 Then the angel took the censer and filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it to the earth; and there followed peals of thunder and sounds and flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

Rev 11:13 (#311/#113 as in 3/11/2011?) And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Rev 11:19 (911)And the temple of God which is in heaven was opened; and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple, and there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder and an earthquake and a great hailstorm.

Rev 16:18 And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty.

My website offers more evidence for the perfection in the Bible's numbers that I refer to as God's DNA like Numeric Map.

Series begin - Compelling Evidences for DNA like Bible numbering

Because the topic of this website might seem unbelievable to begin with, and because you are deciding if you really want to read on, let’s look at some surprising evidence that only God could have placed in the Bible. You can immediately confirm each of these evidences for yourself using any King James or similarly structured version of the Bible that has sixty-six books, from Genesis to Revelation. This is the first in a series of entries that reveal the existence of a precise, DNA-like numeric map created and preserved by God in Bibles used by millions today. Yet these amazing features have been overlooked for centuries. Each of these evidences is compelling in itself, but together they present a difficult-to-dispute argument that the specific author and writer of every word of the Bible was God Himself. If these evidences are not chance, then the only reasonable explanation of their existence is that the Bible is a supernatural creation.

Prophecy in the Bible - the Lord Jesus will return after 1260 days 3 1/2 days, 42 months

Following are just a few examples of how the Bible's 12:6 verses along with its 1:26 verses very strongly point to the event of Jesus return. We are told this will happen after 1,260 days have passed and prophecy experts have their various opinions as to how this number of days should be interpreted. I won't join in that debate, but am fairly certain these examples show that 1260 is definitely a number related to the return of Jesus. I suspect the reason these supernatural Bible numbers are being discovered today is that God/Jesus is intending for us to be more certain than ever that his return is near.

These and other #126 related verses confirm the days of this prophecy over and over again. There are many more examples than shown below, but these should be enough to make the average person wonder if God did indeed supernaturally number/structure the Bible..

Rev 12:6 tells of the woman who waits in the wilderness for 1260 days (42 months, 3 1/2 years)
Dan 12:6 "how long until these wonders? - v7 then responds - 1260 days - times, time and 1/2 time
John 1:26 .."I baptize in water, but among you stands One whom you do not know"
Col 1:26 the mystery hidden from past ages..has been manifested to His saints
Eze 1:26  above the expanse..resembling a throne...with the appearance of a man
Proverbs 1:26 I'll laugh at your calamity; will mock when your dread comes
Luke 1:26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God...
Acts 12:6 On the very night...Peter in chains-then the Angel of the Lord appeared
Mark 12:6 the landowner sends his son saying 'They will respect my son.'
Matt 12:6 "But I say to you that something greater than the temple is here."
Zech 12:6 "In that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot..."
Hosea 12:6 "...wait for your God continually"
Prov 12:6 "the mouth of the upright will deliver them" - when Jesus returns this will happen
Psa 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words; As silver tried in a furnace...v5 leads into this verse - "now I will arise"
Isaiah 12:6 great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel
The 216th verse (126) of Revelation - Rev 13:5 There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him (42 months is 1260 days or 3.5 years)
12260th Bible verse - Ezr 10:7 They made a proclamation throughout Judah and Jerusalem to all the exiles, that they should assemble at Jerusalem (Note how the cross Bible verse number seems to point to an event that will happen at the Lord's return)
Neh 2:6 Then the king said to me, the queen sitting beside him, "How long will your journey be, and when will you return?" So it pleased the king to send me, and I gave him a definite time (a 2:6 verse that seems to support that #26 is a number related to a specific period of time)
Luke 2:6 While they were there, the days were completed for her to give birth (#26 related again to times of completion)
1260 days is the number of end time events - Rev 11:3 "And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."
126th verse of Isaiah (notice chapter and verse add to 62/26) - Isa 6:11 Then I said, "Lord, how long?" And He answered, "Until cities are devastated {and} without inhabitant, Houses are without people And the land is utterly desolate,

In 1517 Martin Luther Posted the 95 Thesis on the Church Door (Reformation Day, Oct 31st)

In 1517 Martin Luther Posted the 95 Thesis on the Church Door (Reformation Day, Oct 31st). Was this event predicted in the Bible? It appears so...a prophetic verse that points to a very important event in the history of the Christian church.
Deu 15:17 then you shall take an awl and pierce it through his ear into the door, and he shall be your servant forever. Also you shall do likewise to your maidservant.
Notice how the text of this verse with reference of 15:17 seems to match with the historical event that took place in the year 1517....

Reformation Day is the Christian holiday we celebrate Martin Luther's act of reformation - it is commonly celebrated on the 31st of October of every year but there are disputes as to the actual day of this act of Luther in posting the 95 thesis. I believe it is no coincidence that many celebrate Halloween on this same day and suspect it is a way to distract from this amazing Christian date in history. It seems very similar to how December 25th-Christmas, the celebration of the appearance of Jesus on earth (not necessarily the day of his birth) is claimed by many to be the improper date to celebrate. There are many evidences in the Bible strongly suggesting #25 is associated with many appearances of the Lord. The primary of these evidences is the 25,000th verse of the Bible where baby Jesus is first presented publically as the messiah at the temple. See the verses beginning at Luke 2:25(25)-26, 27 - Luke 2:26 is the 25,000th verse. The 2500th verse also points to an appearance of the Lord on earth--Exodus 34:3-8 encompasses this event of Moses going before the Lord who appeared to him (34:3 is the 2500th verse). Matthew 1:25 speaks of Jesus birth and Matthew chapter 25 is about the coming of the Bridegroom - Jesus. God is in control of this world more than we can possibly imagine and I suspect he causes some things to be that we thought are the work of men. I believe October 31st is the true Reformation Day, December 25th is God's intended day for celebrating his appearance; and that numbers throughout the Bible are of his creation, not ours.
This verse at Deuteronomy 15:17 is evidence the Bible contains numbers corresponding to dates in history. Although not proof, it is very interesting. This noteworthy verse in Deuteronomy tells of a seemingly strange custom, but when we see how it lines up with one of the most significant events in Christian history, we can get a glimpse of a reason the text was worded in the sort of strange way it was. God so often hides deep meanings in his word just below the surface of the text so he may reveal it to the diligent - when he decides it is time to do so. In this verse, the word "ear" used in the original translation may also be associated with posting a "notice". It would make sense this scripture is saying the servant who desires to be a bondservant is to post a notice on the door of the ownwer's house so others may be fully aware he is now a bondservant of his own will. Although this verse seems prophetic, it is not worded as a statement of prophecy. The text appears intentionally phrased to catch our attention so one day we might realize this passage's chapter and verse reference are not accidental. God wanted us to one day know he deliberately numbered chapter and verses to perfection to prove without doubt he is the author of the Bible.

The Bible's 24,000th, and 11 other verses with a special number pattern point clearly to the Day of the Lord

Below are three of eleven Bible verses documented on my website that have a cross Bible sequence number beginning with #22 and ending with #14 that point directly to the Day of the Lord.  Number 22 is a number for Jesus the Suffering Servant and 14 a number for Jesus the King and Redeemer. Together they are are exceptionally strong pointers to Jesus in scripture, and in this pattern, they also tell us about the Day of the Lord and confirm the reality of the Bible's perfect numbering and Numeric Map. Daniel 9:25 is maybe the most well known prophecy for the date of Jesus return that is also referred to in the Bible as "the Day of the Lord". This passage tells us it is seven weeks and sixty-two between prophetic events that mark this date. This number found in the text (762) happens to be found in this 276th verse in the book of Daniel -- The same numerical digits in Bible sequence numbers and in the text of the same verse - something commonly seen in the Numeric Map.. See the website for more details...

  • (22014.276) Dan 9:25 "So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem --- until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress (until the Day of the Lord - This verse is the prophecy of the date for the return of the Lord Jesus. Note the cross book verse number of 276 confirms the days in the text. Evidence for the reality of the existence of the Bible's Numeric Map).

  • (22314.22) Joel 2:2 A day of darkness and gloom, A day of clouds and thick darkness. As the dawn is spread over the mountains, So there is a great and mighty people; There has never been {anything} like it, Nor will there be again after it To the years of many generations.

  • (22714.29) Nahm 3:1 Woe to the bloody city, completely full of lies and pillage; Her prey never departs. (the 29th verse of Nahm matches #29 theme of the return of the Lord)
Anoter very fascinating example in this pattern is the 2214th Bible verse at Exodus 25:18 that tells of two cherubim - one at each end of the mercy seat where Jesus will one take as his throne. It is interesting that this verse mentioning these two beings has a cross Bible verse number containing precisely two important numbers pointing to Jesus, #14 and #22. Judge for yourself what this might be telling us...

(2214.681) Exo 25:18 "You shall make two cherubim of gold, make them of hammered work at the two ends of the mercy seat (the place Jesus will rule from upon his return).

The other evidence verses for this 22*14 pattern are explained on the web page...

A Bible code validating the Joining of the Old Testament and New Testament - #929

Bible Patterns in the Numeric Map - Like Referenced Cross-Book Verse Numbers--929

I never tire of showing the DNA like perfection of God's numbering of the Bible. If there were not such an abundance of evidence we could never imagine the depth of complexity of the many sequence numbers that can be found in the Bible. One of these, the Book Verse Number, can be found by sequentially numbering the verses in each book of the Bible. Amazingly, there are similar themes running through verses with like book verse numbers. My guess for why this occurs is that the text for each Bible verse appears to correspond to the combination of numbers associated with the text. I often wonder if we knew God's algorythm we might be able to reconstruct verse text using numbers. I don't imagine we can ever understand this because, for one reason, we don't know all the numbers associated with verses. We know there are book numbers, chapter numbers, verse numbers, Bible chapter numbers, Bible verse numbers and book verse numbers - but I suppose there are many more. For whatever reason it happens, the consistency of themes for cross-book verse numbers are both a guide to finding verses with related themes and are a way of helping to determining number themes.

Following below is a list for the total of 14 verses that have a cross-book verse number of 929. This number seems very powerful in its relationship to the numbers 99, 29 and 92. All numbers related to the return of the Lord Jesus (in the air - passing over). It seems no coincidence there are 14 of these verses since #14 is the number for Jesus, our Great High Priest and Savior of the World. Before examining that list, there's one more very special Bible numbering relating to 929 and demonstrating its theme.
Anoter very special relationship to the number 929 is that it is the cross-Bible chapter number of the last chapter of the Old Testament - Malachi 4. This is another major evidence for the theme of 29 and 929 because the New Testament is about God/Jesus coming to earth and the numbers 99, 29 and 92 point to themes about Jesus coming again in the last days. Note, there are 39 books in the Old Testament and the first chapter of the New Testament is the 930th chapter (93 is 39 in reverse) - This seems to be an indication of how the Bible's New Testament is a precisely placed part of the Bible that speaks of the messiah Isrqel still looks for today.

AMAZING COINCIDENCE? Psalms 117 is the exact centerpoint chapter of the Bible as it is the 595th of 1189 chapters and also contains the 1929th and 1930th verses of the Psalms. The Bible's number patterns show these numbers directly relate to numbers 929 and 930. The two verses in this shortest and center Bible chapter has cross-book verse numbers that seem to point to the exact division of the last chapter of the Old Testament and the first chapter of the New Testament. If you ponder the numbers for a minute, this seems an impossible coincidence. It appears God has placed a hidden code in the Bible that validates the joining of the Old Testament and New Testament. The Bible's Numeric Map is not just interesting, it is a Bible validating code.
Back to the 929 verses -Examine the example verses for yourself to observe the 99 related themes running through each of them. I've organized the list by the subtheme that might be associated with them. As you examine them, compare the text to number 29/92/99 subthemes about last things and the return of the Lord ; The Rapture; Jesus witnessing about himself to the Jews; the wrath of God during the last days; the rebuilding of the temple; and others.

Note, the 99 related return of the Lord theme is about the Lord returning to pass over the earth and other events related to Jesus return in the air. I believe his actual return to stand on the earth is related to the symbolism to number 10 or 100.

The Myan end of the world date of 2012 - Is 2012 in the Bible?

How can we find 2012 in the Bible?
This page has been put together because there is such interest in the year 2012 in the world that it seems right to look into God's number pattern to examine what comparisons we might find between God's patterns and this interesting date. Although I have my own opinions about what the Bible might be saying about 2012, the facts presented here are for the reader to draw their own conclusions on. Although I am personally convinced that God's numbers often line up with historical dates, I cannot be sure when this occurs, and if so, what does any apparent relationship mean. My book is about patterns found in the Bible and I suggest that it is the patterns shown by the numbers that most often lead us to understanding.

While reviewing these examples of 2012 in the Bible, look for patterns in related numbers and what overall themes you observe. In the example below of 20 verses having a chapter and verse reference of 2012 you will find a pattern of common themes throughout these verses. All like referenced verses appear to have some common theme running through them but it is not always easy to discern exactly what it is. As is seen in the 15:17 verse example shown below, it is not unusual to find number combinations, that when put together, seem to have relationship with historical dates. Again, you be your own judge as to how verse examples presented here might relate to 2012.

Other Worldly Numbers in the Bible (911, 1517)
As other evidence that seems to show how biblical text might be related to historical dates consider the following examples possibly related to historical events of 911 and of Martin Luther posting the 95 thesis in 1517.

911 Punishment to Nations
911 is a verse of warning about the end. Eleven is associated with warning and numbers along with eleven give some indication of what the warning is about. Nine is a number related to persevering until the end and about events leading up to the end so 911 would theoretically be a number of warning about the end to come. Daniel 9:11 is my favorite 911 verse as it is also the 22,000th verse in the Bible. 22,000 is a one of a kind number of Jesus so these two numbers lining up might have something important to say. If you examine Daniel chapter nine it is about the nation of Israel and how they have sinned against God. Daniel 9:11 seems the key verse to this chapter.

Dan 9:11 "Indeed all Israel has transgressed Your law and turned aside, not obeying Your voice; so the curse has been poured out on us, along with the oath which is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, for we have sinned against Him.

If you examine the Bible other 9:11 verses as well as other 911 related numbers you will clearly see a theme of punishment of nations among related verses.

1517 Posting a Notice of Bondservice
I've documented this in other places so I will briefly summarize this potential association between the year 1517 and the verse reference at Deuteronomy 15:17. It was in 1517 that Martin Luther posted the 95 Thesis on the church door and it happens that Deuteronomy 15:17 says that a servant who has become free but desires to remain and become a willing and voluntary bondservant must declare this decision by taking an awl and piericing his ear to the door.

Deu 15:17 then you shall take an awl and pierce it through his ear into the door, and he shall be your servant forever. Also you shall do likewise to your maidservant.

We are not quite certain exactly what this means but the original language suggests that the ear may have something to do with posting a notice so we can clearly see the relationship of the act done by Martin Luther to declare he will only submit himself to God as directly comparible to the instructions in Deuteronomy 15:17. You can decide for yourself if you believe this is intended or coincidental.

The 20:12 Like Referenced Bible verses found in 20 Books
It is interesting that there are 20 verses in the Bible with a chapter and verse reference of 20:12. The number 2012 begins and ends with 2 and numerical patterns in the Bible reveal that the number resulting from putting the first and last digits of any number together has meaning. This helps us see 2012 seems also related the number 22 whose theme is of Jesus the Suffering Servant. The Jesus who; came to earth to tell us about God's plan; the one who suffered and died on the cross; who was resurrected; and who will one day return to take those who trust in him to their promised inheritence. Note the different ways you can see these aspects of Jesus in the twenty chapter 20 verse 12 verses. These seem strongly to include references to the return of the Lord and to judgment he promised to carry out when he returns. The 20th and last of these verses at Revelation 20:12 seems particularly related as it specifically refers to the Day of the Lord. The Day of the Lord is most often related to the number 24 and it is also interesting that 20 times 12 = 240, a factor of 24 (see reference to Matthew 24:42 which is the 24,000th verse).

5--Deu 20:12 "However, if it does not make peace with you, but makes war against you, then you shall besiege it.

6--Judg 20:12 Then the tribes of Israel sent men through the entire tribe of Benjamin, saying, "What is this wickedness that has taken place among you?

7--1Sam 20:12 Then Jonathan said to David, "The LORD, the God of Israel, be witness! When I have sounded out my father about this time tomorrow, or the third day, behold, if there is good feeling toward David, shall I not then send to you and make it known to you?

11--2Chr 20:12 "O our God, will You not judge them? For we are powerless before this great multitude who are coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are on You."

12--Job 20:12 "Though evil is sweet in his mouth And he hides it under his tongue,

13--Prov 20:12 The hearing ear and the seeing eye, The LORD has made both of them.

14--Jer 20:12 Yet, O LORD of hosts, You who test the righteous, Who see the mind and the heart; Let me see Your vengeance on them; For to You I have set forth my cause.

15--Eze 20:12 "Also I gave them My sabbaths to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD who sanctifies them.

17--Luke 20:12 "And he proceeded to send a third; and this one also they wounded and cast out.

18--John 20:12 and she *saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been lying. (Jesus had risen)

19--Act 20:12 They took away the boy alive, and were greatly comforted.

20--Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.
