Bible's Amazing #22/#14 patterns in the text about Jesus servant and King

#14 and #22 together reveal verses that reference God/The LORD twice…
There are several of the Bible’s numbers that appear to be directly symbolic of Jesus Christ, but the ones that I find most obvious are numbers fourteen and twenty-two. This post is about how these numbers both are symbolic of two aspects of Jesus and how, when they are found together in chapter and verse references , there is most always a double reference in the verse text to God, Kings, or other Jesus types in the Bible. For example Genesis 22:14 refers to the LORD twice in the text; one associated with the symbolism for #22 and the other associated with symbolism for #14. “Abraham called the name of that place The LORD Will Provide, as it is said to this day, "In the mount of the LORD it will be provided.". Another example is 2Samuel 22:14 where we see two different references to Jesus - “Again, "The LORD thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice”. There are many examples like these found in the Bible’s 22:14 verses.  Before showing this 14/22 symbolic relationship, we must first get an idea of the symbolism of the numbers by themselves.

Number fourteen (14) – Jesus the King
Number fourteen appears about Jesus the King as it is so often found with scriptures about Jesus the ruler and maker of all. Revelation 14:1 gives us a clue to this aspect of Jesus – “Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads”.In another set of examples,  Melchizedek is considered a Jesus type in the Bible, if not a direct reference to Jesus, and we find Melchizedek, King of Salem, associated with fourteen in many different verses where is name is found – Genesis chapter 14 refers to him - v18 Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; now he was a priest of God Most High. Hebrews chapter 7 refers to Melchizedek in five separate verses (more than any other chapter) and this appears (not coincidentally) in the 1140th (14 related) chapter of the Bible. Psalm 110:4 (14) also mentions Melchizedek - "You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek".  Another evidence for #14 is the fourteen generations mentioned three times in Matthew chapter 1 as proof for Jesus being the Messiah. Of course, fourteen is the number for Passover which refers to the messiah passing over those that call on his name - Lev 23:5 'In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight is the LORD'S Passover. A last compelling set of examples are found in the Bible’s 14:14 verses of which many contain double references to the LORD - 1Kings 14:14 "Moreover, the LORD will raise up for Himself a king over Israel…”. Watch anything related to #14 in the Bible and you are likely to see some type of symbolism to Jesus the King or other types of Kings or things claiming to be king.
Number twenty-two (22) – Jesus the servant
Twenty-two seems most often symbolic of Jesus the servant, who came down to earth as a man to deliver his people from bondage. The number twenty-two is found 10 times in the Bible and is most often in reference about the reign of Kings;  the years reigned; the age when one became a king; or other 22 numbers associated with a Kingdom - 1Kin 14:20 The time that Jeroboam reigned was twenty-two years… Other than these textual references to twenty-two, the overwhelming evidence relating twenty-two with Jesus and Christ types in the Bible are found in the association of book, chapter, verse and other biblical number references. I understand if you are skeptical of such possibly contrived associations, but if you examine the preponderance of evidence, the association is very difficult to dismiss. One of the best set of verses that are more obviously not contrived examples are the Bible’s 22:22 verses (18 total) – here are some of them; Num 22:22 the angel of the LORD took his stand in the way as an adversary against him. Now he was riding on his donkey and his two servants were with him; Joshua  22:22 "The Mighty One, God, the LORD, the Mighty One, God, the LORD!; Isaiah 22:22 "Then I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder; Ezekiel 22:22 …you will know that I, the LORD, have poured out My wrath on you.' "; Luke 22:22 the Son of Man is going as it has been determined;  Psalm 22:22 I will tell of Your name to my brethren;  and Acts 22:22 they raised their voices and said, "Away with such a fellow from the earth, for he should not be allowed to live!". Other of the best examples of number twenty-two in reference to Jesus or Jesus types are; Genesis chapter 22 where Abraham took his only son Isaac up the mountain as a sacrifice; Lamentations which is the 22nd full book of the Bible (IE 1-2 Kings count as a single book)  about the lamenting of the Lord – it has 5 chapters with verse counts of 22,22,66,22,22; and Revelation chapter 22 which is the last chapter of the Bible very specifically about Jesus, -  Rev 22:20 He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. Watch chapter and verses throughout scripture for the number 22 and I think you will observe the association.
When 22 and 14 are found together we see evidence of both aspects of Jesus in a single verse
The Bible’s 22:14 verses (21 total) are good evidence for both the symbolism of #22 and #14, as well as for the DNA like structure that demonstrates chapter and verse number have direct relationship to the context of the text associated with them. The below list shows all 21 of these verses. In them you will overwhelmingly find evidences of double references to Jesus, God or kings of one kind or another. What makes these verses such good examples are their repeated double references to God. These double references are apparently there to satisfy the symbolism for both chapter and verse that are numbers for God. The first example is very clear – The text for Genesis 22:14 has references to “the LORD will provide” and to “the mount of the LORD”. You can see where the LORD providing is more of a reference to Jesus the servant and the mount of the LORD more of a reference to Jesus the King. Both the symbolism for 22 and 14 are found in the text.
The Bible’s text reveals this pattern well, so I’ll let the verse text speak for itself - examine the list of verses below  Note: Even though some verses are not obvious examples of the double reference, I’ve included every 22:14 verse so you can observe the preponderance of the number of times the double references are found. As I often mention – these are not provided as proofs of the Bible’s DNA like divine numbering, but hopefully are evidences that will make you wonder enough to consider the miracle God has done in his Amazing Word.

  1. thats pretty cool amazing how so many fail to take an honest look at this precious script given to us by the triune God Yahweh, it mourns my spirit to no end when I hear all the false rhetoric against the Bible as a human source derived from human reasoning. I showed my brother Genesis2:22 as the chapter where God began to unfold His relationship with man and the final product where that union of two is then multiplied ( 2x ) resulting in product of very own chromosonal make up 46 chromosomes or 2x22=4 + 1 sex chromosome from mommy and 1 from daddy or 46 amazing thank you God for the revelation.
